Very cozy and charming accommodation run by a British couple. You'll not regret any single moment there. It is near Bellac center, so everything is accessible on foot. Parking was in front of the property (public space), and there were always plenty of parking spaces available. Breakfast was great and fulfilling, especially the crème brûlée served in a small bowl. You'll also get a big bowl of freshly cut fruits. Just give it a try, you'll enjoy every single moment of it.

Breakfast was served in the lovely dining room and included very nice yogurt, fruit, toast, tea and coffee, served by Craig, who was attentive and friendly throughout our stay. The house is large and elegant and very easy to find. There is street parking immediately outside, which makes access very simple. As stated, Craig is a very friendly, helpful and attentive host. We enjoyed walking around Bellac, which has some interesting views, buildings and areas such as the river and the old bridge.

We had a warm welcome from Craig and were so pleased with our room and facilities. Craig could not have been more helpful. Our room was very comfortable, we loved the cosy bed. Breakfast was most satisfying and we loved meeting Dotty the dog who was adorable.

Fantastic, exquisite .... a mix between British country house and French elegance ! A true pearl. Words lack to describe the care and love devoted to this beautiful place. And did I mention the superb breakfast ? Well, it was just that ! Highly, very highly, recommended, this place. PS: do not judge the book by its cover, meaning, the outside facade of the building has absolutely no relation to what awaits one inside.

Beautiful old house, well updated with plenty of charm. Enormous comfortable bed in a delightful room overlooking the front of the house. Lovely welcome from our hosts. Unusual breakfast but delicious.
