“Cabanas on the river”
Kevin and Janelle were fabulous hosts. The location is super handy to the airport and an adventure to the accommodation on a pontoon across the river. They arranged pick up and drop off in a timely manner and the cabanas are rustic and funky. They even had some dinner options available there so you could chill by the river without going anywhere.

Enjoyed my one night stay. Property is very close to the airport which is ideal. Nice hammocks to relax in for each room. Kevin was very hard working and made my stay fantastic.

“Add $US20 per day for taxi rides”
Convenient proximity to the airport in a riverside vegetation surrounding. It was a nice alternative to a hotel in Belize city.

The resort is dated but quaint. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The area is quiet with great views of the river. The breakfast was modest.

Lovely location next to the river and great location close to the airport. A big room with kitchen. Good wifi. Peaceful and safe place to stay. Good breakfast, it´s a small buffet with bread with spreads, eggs, fruits, coffee and corn flakes. Staff is very nice and they have three lovely dogs.

“Simple but enjoyable stay”
The location is excellent for the airport and other transportation from Belize city. The river it is situated next to is beautiful and makes it feel very rural. Facilities are basic but adequate. The kitchenette is extremely useful

“Wonderful trip in this quirky place”
The property was located on an island which was super exciting for the kids to cross on the boat to get to and from the hotel. The rooms were individual rooms on stilts with an enclosed balcony with mosquito nets and hammocks. The location was fantastic, the rooms were very spacious, even for a family of 5, and there was a kitchenette too. The staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating!

“Poor quality for a high price, by budget traveler standards.”
The staff were very helpful and friendly, including arranging a shuttle to the hotel for us and complimentary airport shuttle. Hot shower and aircon.
