Overview
Just 500 metres from the soothing River Belihul Oya, Landa Holiday Home offers a selection of tree houses and wooden villas in the midst of nature. On-site activities include bird watching, cycling and trekking. The guestrooms are equipped with a fan and private bathroom. From the balcony, views of the landscaped gardens can be enjoyed. Landa Holiday House is a 30-minute drive from Bambarakanda Falls and 1 km from the University of Sabaragamuwa. It is a 1-hour, 30-minute drive from Horton Planes and a 3-hour drive from Colombo. Bicycle and car rentals can be arranged at the front desk. The hotel also provides laundry services and free parking. At the restaurant, savoury Sri Lankan rice and curries are cooked in traditional clay pots over a fire.

Landa Holiday House is a wonderful place to relax. The rooms are very well maintained, and the garden is a beautiful spot to enjoy. The staff are extremely friendly, and the meals are delicious. Don’t hesitate to book your stay here

“Just perfect!”
I had such a lovely stay at Landa Holiday House! The rooms are very nice and comfortable and the garden is exquisite! The host speak very well english and the food is also good. I can recommend to stay here for multiple nights.

“hidden treasure in the jungle”
Beautifully situated, among the jungle and a garden embedded in it. We arrived quite late, but despite this they waited for us and offered us dinner! The caretaker of the facility is a very nice gentleman who cares a lot about the well-being of his guests. The guesthouse is decorated in a uniform style that matches the surroundings. Every detail is thought out. The rooms are spotlessly clean, always with a view of the jungle (some, like ours, also have a balcony). In the morning we had a delicious breakfast - fruit and a chosen form of egg. It was a sufficient portion for us. In addition, coffee / tea / juice. It was wonderful for us to wake up in such surroundings and start the day like this. Although the monkeys jumped on the roof of our building, it was an additional attraction for us. I would like to visit such places more often. Hidden gems with excellent service.

The property is extremely beautiful. Right next to the river and maintained very well. The staff Mr Kamal, Priyankaran and chamara were extremely helpful and great company. The food was exceptional.
