“Amazing spot”

To be honest we liked everything! Staff , room and envoirment were excellent.

The outside breakfast patio was pleasant as the sun warms in the AM hours. The location, in relation to the ferry, was excellent (the hotel staff helpfully provide times. ) A word of caution if you choose to walk to the ferry, the road from the hotel is fairly narrow and steep which is most noticable when returning!) A free shuttle service is offered.

The owners were very helpful, spook good English and made us feel welcome. The bus and train station are a short walk away but the owners will drive you when requested. Buses stop at 19:30 hours and taxis are rare. Arriving back in Stresa after a train trip we had to take a taxi back, however, the owner said we should have rung and they would have sent someone out to collect us - Now that is service. The hotel consists of a main building and a second annexe both with views of the lake and the garden area. We had the top floor room, normally a family room, which you entered straight from the lift. It was split into three areas, the first had a single bed and a balcony with a large table for sitting around. The middle section had two single beds whilst the main bedroom area had a king-size bed and a balcony. The bathroom was large with big jacuzzi and shower. The breakfast met our requirements especially the four types of honey, one being a local honey comb. Though based on the continently style you could also have porridge, waffles, pancakes and various eggs served in the main house or terrace. Evening meals were pizzas, or various salads served in large locally made bowls and of course a sweet selection. Make sure you have the apple tart, a family recipe, with ice cream. There is a large selection of wines to go with your meal, and we had the recommend local red wine which was excellent. Access to the buildings are via stairs, these are not easy if you have any problems walking. However, if you stay in the main building you can gain access to the hotel through the private quarters, you will need to arrange that, and then ride down in the lift to reception, useful when carrying cases to and from the car. Th bottom level has secure parking with access to charger stations, which you need to reserve, and a gym area. There is a small raised pool which is suitable for children as a parent could reach over and easily lift a child out.

The view on the Maggiore Lake. The room was nice with a balcony and staff was halpful all the time. We spend here only 1 night.

absolutely stunning views, well kept gardens and location, the Owners were very helpful and attentive. we were given a beautiful large room with a great jacuzzi. we were able to charge our car, which was extremely convenient. rent a boat if you can and explore the coast. will definitely come again 🥰

A lovely stylish hotel situated with large gardens in a secluded spot overlooking the lake. The hotel was very clean, the bed was huge and the hosts, Simona and Alberto could not have been more friendly or helpful. Breakfast was excellent and could be eaten outside as could dinner, which was also excellent and good value. The hotel is a short drive from Stresa

The hotel had an incredibly personal touch. The owners were absolutely lovely and made the stay. Willing to share details about the lake, restaurants, everything. The location of the hotel is also fantastic and gives a great view of the lake with fantastic gardens. For the size of the hotel it really goes offer a lot.

The absolutely stunning view to the Maggiore lake from our room. The great park in the property. The excellent hosts providing high level service. The breakfast is very tasty and rich. Close proximity to the local center with the main infrastructure and very interesting trips. Very relaxing atmosphere.
