“The advertised property doesn't exist; the listing should be deleted.”

The property was advertised as being a 1-bedroom house and stated that I would have the whole place to myself. It also mentions other features such as a garden and a balcony with sea-view. On arrival at the property I found that what was offered was a room in a 3-bedroom house shared with 2 other couples; the bathroom was shared with one of the couples (the guy used the toilet whilst leaving the bathroom door open). There's no garden, no balcony and no sea view - the view from the bedroom is a brick wall and at the front is a pile of rubble. None of the photos in the listing are of the house that I stayed in. They are clearly all from the house next door, also owned by the same host, which is much more attractive. I didn't have other options so I stayed there anyway but have been trying to contact travelnest about a partial refund, but they haven't responded. I discussed by whatsapp with the host (who took no responsibility and isn't even living in Jamaica) but he blamed travelnest for the inaccurate listing and has done nothing to help despite recognising that the information in the listing is false. Other issues with the house is that it's not in the location shown on booking.com, so I had additional difficulties trying to find it. It was dingy, not very clean and the kitchen is poorly equipped. It is very definitely not "charming". I can see now that another reviewer has had the same issues with this house, but their review hadn't yet been posted when I made my booking so I didn't see it in time. I hope everyone else will be warned off from booking this place.
