“Amazing value for money hotel!”
Amazing customer service and support from the staff. It is a great value for money hotel. Massages offered within the hotel were amazing! Breakfast is good value for money and really good selection of fruits. There are lots of gyms close by!

Traditional colonial style building. Has a French theme. Food was good if a bit expensive. Set in a narrow street in the old town you are not recommended to leave on foot at night. Main complaint was I consistent WiFi. Otherwise very happy

“Good value for money, excellent location, nice garden & pool”
The amenities and location are great. We had a quadruple room (travelling as a couple) and were happy with the set up and cleanliness. The pool and garden area to relax are a nice feature. Breakfast was good too. We had dinner once at the hotel restaurant (French cuisine) and were not very impressed (moules marinières were very small and the sauce was not good).

“Simple, but convenient.”
The hotel is simple, but clean and very quiet at night. The breakfast area is cute, close to the swimming pool. There was a very small variety of options for the breakfast, but it was OK. The location is good because it's very close to Praça da República.

“Excellent price/quality ratio”
Good location in a safe area. walking distance to the main sights. Rooms are big. There is a nice pool in the garden, though I didn’t use it. The breakfast was good breakfast, there’s friendly staff and a good restaurant. Actually everything a traveller could wish for!

“cheap 1 night stay before a flight next day. will definitely take reviews more seriously and not be so cheap after that”
not much. I think they put a lot of effort into the garden area and pool. The staff are friendly and let us leave our bags for the day before our flight. Cheap for a 1 night stay, any longer wouldn’t be nice at all. didn’t try breakfast or restaurant but was empty when we stayed (Friday night)

“beautiful guesthouse, comfortable room, lovely pool area.”
it’s very beautiful, with lovely communal areas in the courtyard and swimming pool. The on-site restaurant is great too.
