“Very nice bed & breakfast”
We stayed for one night with our son (10), travelling north. Very friendly owner, beautiful house, nice pool, great bathroom and breakfast. Very quiet location, about 10min drive from the highway. Would definitely come back again.

Small family business, for the moment only one room available. Very nice host and you can find anything you need: room was spacious and clean, great shower in the bathroom. Dinner can be offered at request.

La Houblonniere was delightful. Stéphane was a perfect host who made us extremely welcome. Dinner was wonderful. We only stayed one night, on our way back from Les Arcs, but our short stay at La Houblonniere was the highlight of our trip.

The bathroom/toilet is downstairs, through a hallway with visibility to/from owners' kitchen. A door in this hallway leads to a sparsely furnished large "dining room" which is not very inviting. In this area there is a steel stairway, with about 20 metal steps and 4 rickety chipboard steps to 1st floor bedroom. NONE OF THESE PARTICULARS ARE MENTIONED IN PROPERTY DESCRIPTION!. As we are both pensioners and my wife has had 2 knee replacements, and has severe bladder issues, this property with downstairs toilet/ bathroom was not an option for us and we had to opt out. Furthermore, this property is FAR TOO EXPENSIVE for what it has to offer. Despite all this the owner Stephane refused to give us full, or even partial, refund of our payment, saying we should have read ALL the reviews. Another issue is that one has to reverse one's car into the gravelled driveway, through two large pillars, from a very busy road, which could be very daunting to less experienced drivers.
