Overview
Surrounded by beautiful Beilstein vineyards, Hotel Haus Burg Metternich has vine-framed terraces with panoramic views of the River Moselle. The family-run hotel lies at the foot of Metternich Castle. Stylish rooms, some with views of the River Moselle, have neutral décor and flat-screen TV. The en-suite bathroom has complimentary toiletries, and a bathrobe and hairdryer are provided. A breakfast buffet is available and guests can choose to dine on the terraces. Traditional regional cuisine is served in the restaurant, and small meals are on offer in the café bistro. The scenic surroundings of Beilstein are ideal for cycling, and bike rental is available. A short boat trip to the other side of Moselle leads to the Ellenz-Poltersdorf outdoor pool, surrounded by vineyards. Parking is available and the A48 motorway is a 20-minute drive from the hotel. Koblenz is 50 km away and Frankfurt-Hahn Airport is 35 km away.

The location is very nice, the hotel is situated in a traditional building. The staff is super nice, very helpful. We really enjoyed the local cuisine whereas meals are prepared with a lot of care.

“Certainly not bad, but not great either.”
Breakfast was pretty good, nice assortment of bread. Also, the restaurant has a very nice terrace with a view over the Mossel.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming! If there is anything you need they don't hesitate to help you. At checkout they even remembered the name of my dog - that says it all!

The place was beautiful, our bedroom looked right over the river and mountains. The hosts and their staff were wonderful and the food was delicious. The shower pressure in our room was really good. We will definitely be staying there again in the future. 👍👏

Breakfast was good. Not overdone, but just what you need in the morning. Staff is excellent. Location is superb. The restaurant is very good. Quality good, selection good and prices good. We kept going back to the hotel for our meals.

“Charming hotel great for visiting Mosel area”
The location was great, very central, many restaurants nearby, close to Cochem but still in a quiet village. Very friendly owners and a warm welcome, comfortable and clean rooms.
