“Disappointing but problems corrected by the hotel management.”

Looks excellent pr events like wedding, congress, company do's etc, but disappointing for private people. The exterior looks superbe but inside there are things that let to be desired. Our bedroom was poorly maintained as lights did not work properly in the bathroom, no curtain or blind on the small window. The hotel gave us an other better room and this one was much better.

THe overall hotel is very nice since it's very central and in a good position. The garden and the outdoor Bar is amazing and the PArking is very nice and accessible.

The castle itself was very charming and there was a nice pond at the back of it. The restaurant underneath the castle served excellent food.

I didn't have breakfast; however, I have stayed her previously and elected to have breakfast without providing any warning, and it was truly amazing. The place is just exquisite. The bedrooms small - albeit superbly well designed. The grounds beautiful.

Looks all plush on the outside, Every single room is the size of a double bed, with 0.5m around the bed to walk. Bathroom was half decent. Staff and owners are all Romanians and do not speak a single word of English. I am still waiting for my 28EUR refund which I will just dispute for refund with my bank as IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO EVEN HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH THE ESTABLISHMENT. 2/10 only because bathroom was decent. They need to upload more pics of the rooms so you know what dungeon you are renting. DONT DO IT

It is a beautiful building

This property is just a splendid find; one of those rare jewels which you seldom expect to discover when tucked away in the heart of a village. This family run hotel is a shining example of how wonderful historic buildings can be brought back to life. The staff went the extra mile for me and sought to prepare breakfast at the last minute although I hadn’t booked breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble.

I had to stay at the reception for 1 hr15 mins nobody was there. They don’t show concern to client. It was very poor

“HONESTLY WORSE THAN SHARING ROOM. CAN'T SPEAK either French or English.”

Good location and packing, but I hate almost every minute about my stay in that hotel and where to start, worse than any other hotels that I have visited. Staff can't speak either French or English properly. The main language in that is Romania, that manager is very rude . The reception is always with no receptionist, and imagine using your phone all the time to call the Managers to send someone when you are at the reception.

Poor water pressure, unhelpful staff, aircon not working

The air conditioning was not working, and if you open the windows we got eaten by mosquitoes. They brought us a little swamp cooler but just for one room. The TVs did not work, they were missing equipment, again they fixed one but not the other. The Wi-Fi only worked in the hallway so as soon as the door closed the signal went away. The sign in the room said one thing about the wi-fi but we had to track down an employee to find out that the sign was wrong, and we needed another password for the wi-fi. There was no one there to check us in at 4:00 we found someone after 10 minutes but she knew very little but gave us the room key and towels.

The hotel broke the law. The receptionist (unknown, because he did not identify himself), all we know is that it was Samuel D. (information for the author) who took pictures of our IDs with his private phone. He did not obtain our consent for this. We were exposed to identity theft. No confidentiality rules were maintained (GDPR - 2016/679). The situation is very suspicious. We are reporting this practice of this hotel to the appropriate European authorities. I will not even mention the fact that during our stay very loud music was blaring until 4 am. We are very disappointed with our stay.
