“A relaxing overnight stay.”
A peaceful, rural hotel. All the staff, including the trainees, were helpful and friendly. We ate both dinner and breakfast during our overnight stay, and both meals had plenty of choice and were well cooked and presented.

Location is beautiful, but the rooms are old. Forst room had no working lights. The second room had old beds and the bathroom smelled like ammonium / urine.

100/10. Just a wonderful ethos. How wonderful to have a fully wheelchair accessible and thoughtfully caring hotel. Top points- ethos and welcome to a family with a profoundly disabled son. Superbly friendly staff. Delicious food with food allergies well caters for. Comfortable rooms with spacious wetroom bathrooms.

“Enjoyable stay in a lovely woodland location.”
Location in the woodland was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Evening meal in the restaurant was great and the service very attentive and professional. The room was spacious and clean, decor possibly a little dated. We rented bikes which was easy and a reasonable price.

“Perfect stay for business or leisure”
The hotel is located near a castle with a beautiful green setting. The hotel itself has large rooms (equipped for disabled people), swimming pool, restaurant ( order in advance). It is also a training institute for young adults with Down's Syndrome, which is a great opportunity for them to learn in real circumstances and be ready for work.

“I would stay here again if passing through.”
We had to leave very early so the prepared breakfast we could take with us was much appreciated. The rooms were very large and comfortable. We also had to check in late and appreciated that the hotel accommodated check in until 11pm - this was difficult to find at other places along our route.

Nice place where to overnight, it is a sport centrum with bar / pizza place and not too far from the centre. Friendly staff, happy to accomodate clients needs.

“A very relaxing stay.”
Lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds. Very tranquil setting. Staff very helpful. We had an enormous room with a large comfortable double bed with a single bed also in the room. The room was large enough to feel you could dance in it. The bathroom was a wet room with disabled toilet, basin and shower. Stylish decor, good WiFi,TV ,desk and plenty of wardrobe space and bedside tables and comfy chairs. Delicious breakfast although limited hot breakfast options. Good coffee . There is a swimming pool and a good gym. We hadn’t asked for a disabled person’s room, I am unsure if it was because my husband was walking with a stick. The parking is a walk from the hotel but they do allow unloading directly outside the hotel. The walk is through a woodland path which I found very relaxing, especially seeing the deer that live within the grounds. The hotel is very geared up to accommodating disabled people, in fact they have an academy in the building within the grounds where they train disabled people to enter the hospitality industry. The staff are very helpful and eager to assist anyone needing help.
