Host Genevieve was lovely, generous and communicated well . We were made to feel very at home immediately. The gardens and natural pool were stunning. Even though these were shared spaces we were lucky enough to be there by ourselves. The Art Studio was extremely comfortable and private despite being attached to the main house. The BBQ and breakfast supplies were a lovely touch and very welcomed. Bed super comfortable. So close to town

The most beautiful property with the most gorgeous gardens! You feel like you are in a slice of Europe in Stanley. The accommodation was very generous in room sizes and was perfect for our group of 12. The outdoor table was a lovely place to sit for our breakfast and then wander around the gardens and enjoy the pool! Genevieve is a fabulous host alongside her two dogs! Walking distance to the Stanley pub which we enjoyed for dinner one night! Then under 10 minutes to get into Beechworth! We will be back!

Planetrees Estate exceeded our expectations! The owner, Genevieve was very welcoming, providing fresh sourdough and homemade jams for us to enjoy for breakfast during our stay. We were also welcomed by 2 adorable miniature dachshunds, Daphne and Violet. 😍🥰 You could easily imagine being Alice in Wonderland wandering through the extensive gardens, and we felt spoilt to be able to swim in the natural pool. The Art Studio was beautifully decorated and well appointed. Planetrees is a scenic 10 minute drive from Beechworth. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to return.

Genevieve's property is an absolute delight. Even on a misty, cold weekend in the winter, her garden is a wonderland. The Lodge is well appointed, with lovely touches such as alpaca wool throws and plenty of dry split wood to keep the fire raging.
