“Disappointing and stressful. Having to find and pay for New accommodation late in the afternoon!”

The property was so musty that it set off all of my allergies within 20 minutes. We could not stay. Have not heard a word since we left. Ask for a refund via Booking.com - nothing! Asked directly to the email of the host - nothing! Very disappointed. Feel ignored.

It was a lovely old church, and the welcome by Wilson (who had dinner in the fridge) was really lovely. He helped me solve a few problems I had (transport & firewood) and also directed me to the best coffee in the area!

The property was fabulous an old well loved church with great facilities and a wonderfully decorated interior in the style one would expect for such a building. The furnishings, lamps and artwork were just beautiful yet we felt very comfortable in its midst. The area is beautiful and so much to see. We were greeted on our first night with a beautiful meal by our hosts which was so thoughtful and delicious. ( Canungra is about 16km away and as our hosts had mentioned stock up on groceries before you arrive) Our dog was welcome and there are plenty of quiet nearby streets to walk. Just note though as our hosts pointed out before we arrived there are no fences.

We really enjoyed our stay in the old church! The character of the place, the back deck and comfy bed, as well as the friendly helpful host were highlights.

Beautiful property, very comfortable bed , gorgeous furniture throughout. Plenty of room, accessible, activities, board games, DVD’s to watch for all ages . Owner absolutely lovely, greeted me upon arrival. All round a lovely stay 🙂

Location is amazing and building itself is wonderful, we've stayed there before, years ago. The provided meal, italian pasta sauce amd spaghetti were again enjoyed by the kids - they remembered it from last time.

The church was so tranquil I wanting to get away from the busyness of the world and this place ticked all the boxes. My kids 11 and 10 loved walking our dog and looking at the wild life taking photos. They played chess and played with the CD collection on site. They loved the mezzanine and the bed up there, however slept downstairs near us. The owners were super nice. The fridge wasn’t working and they changed it out straight away. The owners made a meal, was super thoughtful. Would recommend staying here for families who want something a little different.
