Great location, great staff

Beautiful garden and lake.

The staff was very nice, the room had a wonderful view and we did the bike and the kayak for free!

Nice location for a relaxing stay, even though it was rainy season. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the food in the restaurant and the walkway to over looking the lake. I'm sure when the weather is better the activities offered on the lake would be a lot of fun.

“Lovely private wooden cabin above the lake”

We stayed for 2 nights in Pondanu during our stay in Bali, mainly because its close to the northern waterfalls. All in all we liked the place - comfy beds, roomy accommodation, setting on the lake, nice breakfast and readily available lunch and dinner if you want them. Its easily accessible for car transfers and not far from the waterfalls, botanical garden, lake temple etc. The view of the mountains is great too. Yellow cat is legendary :)

“My fave accomodation in Bali ! Highly recommended !”

The view from the hotel is amazing. Unique statue, beautiful lake, fresh air. Just perfect! This is the 3rd time I stayed at this accomodation. Room is spacious and clean. Equipped with electric blanket. The owner and staffs are amazing ! They even set nice breakfast in front of our tent rooms. We rent the electric car from the accomodation and took a ride around the area. We also rode the boat provided by the accomodation. Really fun ! Highly recommended. Definitely will go back !

“Loved staying here!”

Do not underestimate how cold the Bedugul area can be…pack a jacket!! I loved the electric blanket, heated towel rail and the fact that the shower was almost instantly hot when you opened the tap. The room is not massive but there’s more than enough space. I loved the fact that there was so much cupboard space. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and assisted with everything we needed (even when I needed a tailor to fix my broken handbag!) We rented scooters from them - all good. I loved the resident cat!! This is not a very big hotel and you never feel surrounded by loads of people. Their seating area at the lake (where you could also order food & drinks) very peaceful and really special.

“Beautiful designed but not well maintained”

The location was great, the restaurant and also the area around it was done very pretty. The welcome snack was huge and extremely tasty. Staff was very friendly. 20 minute walk to the water temple, good to do, not a pretty walk as you have to follow the main road.

The accommodation was absolutely amazing! Just a few minutes of sand from Kelingking point. Everything was clean, ready, usable. We have to praise the pool, in which we enjoyed spending time.

“Very comfortable stay, close to Ulun Danu Beratan!”

Outstanding location by the lake. The rooms were spacious particularly the bathroom. Staff were superb always willing to help. Their restaurant is a little expensive but the food was very good. They have standard American or Indonesian breakfast. The breakfast helpings are more than enough for one person. All rooms have a balcony. Sitting out is nice. They have activities to do. The Ulun Danu Beratan is a 5 mins drive from this place, a 15 mins walk. There is a cafe right opposite to the hotel where there are cheaper but equally good food options.

“Interesting experience”

Beautiful narrow gardens that extend into the lake. Lots of flowers and art! Wonderful breakfast. Sky window in the cabin!

Lovely garden and pier. Amazing view of lake. Staff very friendly. Complimentary fried bananas on arrival which tasted great. Great breakfast included.

“Agréable séjour”

The people, the room, the food, the musical atmosphere.

Being right on the edge if the lake with the most beautiful sculptures was a special experience. Food was exceptionally good especially the bubur ayam, rawon sapi and carrot cake.

“Truly wonderful - quite unlike anywhere that I've ever stayed.”

The location is spectacular - with wonderful views in all directions. The layout of the hotel is pretty unique - based around a walkway running out into the lake. There is a restaurant area, with coffee machine, books, vespas, plus a snug area and a fire pit. The boardwalk then runs out to the lake, where you can sit and enjoy the view - get an ice cream - or venture out in a kayak. Truly magical. I've stayed in an awful lot of hotels around the world and I think that this is the only one that sells day passes for non-residents to come and enjoy the views. During our stay there was a constant stream of instagrammers taking selfies.

“Very pleasant stay in beautiful location.”

Beautiful location. Big yummy breakfasts, and nice snacks and dinners. Friendly and helpful staff. Free bike hire (as I stayed 3 nights). Skylight in room, towel heater and definitely the electric blanket on the bed that kept me warm at night! Cabins were clean and comfortable and very charming. The cabana area was very relaxing with great views of the lake. I really enjoyed my stay here.
