Overview
Located in the town centre and surrounded with parks and monastery garden, the Penzion Vila Elektra offers a breakfast, free WiFi and a 24-hour front desk. The spacious rooms and suites are decorated in the 1920s style and are fitted with a satellite flat-screen TV, a minibar, a seating area and a private bathroom. Each room and suite has either a private terrace or a balcony, offering river views. The building houses a café with a terrace from which guests can enjoy views of the river and there also is a restaurant on site. To stock up on necessities, guest can go to a market on the town square 150 metres from the guest house or to a Tesco supermarket 600 metres away. Guest can take a 5-minute stroll and visit the Castle Bechyně or the Monastery Virgin Mary Assumption Church. The technical monument of the Štádlecký bridge can be seen 10 km away. The Bechyně Train Station and Bus Stop is located a 15-minute walk from Penzion Vila Elektra and free shuttle can be provided upon request. Cars can be parked on site.

Breakfast was fantastic!!! Beautiful view from my balcony, plenty of space in my penthouse room. A 200 m walk passed the monastery and some old buildings and you are at the town square. Several restaurants to choose from. :-)

“The best hotel on a lengthy visit to Southern Bohemia - worth returning to!”
An exceptionally pleasant experience in every respect. Spacious, clear and bright rooms with a splendid view; absolutely quiet; highly engaged, motivated and friendly personnel. Marvelous breakfast with fresh local products. The restaurant (open 3 nights a week) superb and distinctive. We were sad to leave!

“Luxury stay in Vila Elektra”
This is amazing place for vacation or short stay. I got big room with small balcony and nice bathroom. Bed was very comfortable. All house is nicely decorated and very clean. Penzion has big terasa where you can enjoy drink or dinner with a fantastic view. In the morning you hear only birds as you find yourself in the middle of beautifull nature. Breakfast is the best I ever had in any pension. Price for dinner and room was on the higher end but it worth every penny :-) . Lady Gutova is very nice and easy going person. I reccomend this place 100%.
