A beautiful clean Auberge Hotel with restaurant. A nice quiet setting. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Very little else in this small town but nice for walking. Just a 20 minute drive across the St.Lawrence by bridge to Trois Rivierre, offering an abundance of restaurants and shops.

“Quiet and nice”
The manor was in a quiet village and we liked it. The room was comfortable and the decor was charming. The staff was very friendly. The Free box breakfast was a nice surprise as the breakfast was not included in the charge. Only thing we missed was a dinner in the manor as it was closed on the day.

“Disapointing and overpriced for the experience.”
We were given a room we had not booked and although it was really very nice, it was a Queen bed instead of a King. We asked the owner about it and he agreed it was the wrong room, but he couldn’t change it until the next day. The next day they did give us a king room, but no sofa or iron as there should have been. The TV did not work but to be fair we didn’t need to watch it, so we didn’t let them know. The lady on the desk the next day said we had to pay extra to stay in the room we had already booked.We refused, reluctantly she let the charge go, but in a somewhat indifferent manner, which was unnecessary and unacceptable. The hotel was lovely and the manager was very pleasant. We ate at his pub up the road and the food was good. The breakfast was very disappointing. It was put in the fridge on a plastic tray. I feel for this price we should have had breakfast in the restaurant. Day old croissants don’t really taste good. The breakfast let everything down. It really was not good at all. Otherwise nice hotel in the country

“Really great experience, would 100% recommend to anyone staying in the Trois-Rivières area.”
A very welcoming atmosphere that was clean and visually appealing. The room was very tidy and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. I did not get a chance to eat at the hotel, although I wish I had. I will certainly make an effort to come back and stay at this hotel again.

It was quiet and comfortable. We resevered dinner on the Saturday for our anniversary and the filet mignon was excellent except it was served with fries that were a bit over cooked. Would have been nice to have potato wedges or baked for the price. Overall it was a nice stay.
