Perfect location to visit Mont-Saint-Michel

“Not good!”

We were very disappointed with our stay at La Mouette. One of the main things we always look for when booking accommodation is having a good shower, especially after travelling. Unfortunately, the bathroom did not match what was advertised in the listing. There was no holder for the shower head, meaning we had to hold it the entire time while showering, which was very uncomfortable and inconvenient. In addition, the shower curtain had visible mold on it, which was very unhygienic and unacceptable. To make matters worse, the owner was very rude and unprofessional in their communication, even using inappropriate language towards us in messages. Their response to our complaint was particularly concerning, as they accused us of lying, dismissed our concerns, and suggested we were attempting to “blackmail” them with a review. This was completely inappropriate and not how guests should be treated. Overall, the property did not meet our expectations, both in terms of facilities and customer service.

The house is very well equipped, and you will find everything you need to cook there. The location is excellent for me. The house and bedroom are very well decorated, and the mattress is amazing and very comfortable. The cleaning was perfect. I recommend 100%.

The property was in a good location and had everything we needed. We cooked for new year and we weren’t missing any kitchen tools. The host was very nice and always available. There’s breakfast for 10€ and dinner for 15€ which looked amazing but we didn’t take as we had too much food already. The house was warm enough and clean. We read the reviews about not enough hot water so we planned our showers 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening and had no problems with hot water.

The location was really helpful and quiet. Not far from Le Mont Saint Michel. The local town is quiet in December so had to travel a little to get some dinner, but all good. The home was a little on the cool side, and when I turned up the radiators the power short-circuited the whole house. Fortunately Karine the host came quickly and helped out. She was terrific and super helpful.

Everything. From the sitting room to the kitchen, bedrooms and shower rooms. Towels are provided. The place is clean and the temperature is perfect.

“A wonderful stay with a lovely host”

A beautiful, well appointed gite near Mont Saint Michel. It was just out of town which meant it was nice a quiet but still close enough to all the sites. It was perfect for our family of 4. Karine communicated with us well and made sure we had everything we needed for a lovely stay.

We were really happy with the location, as in about 20 minutes you could walk up to the buses and be brought to St. Mount Michel. The house was convenient and there was plenty of space.

The cottage was lovely and situated in Beauvoir, a small village nearest to Mont St. Michel. I liked the 2 spacious bedrooms with large comfortable beds; and downstairs it was just as spacious, with a well equipped kitchen. The village was very quiet so we slept perfectly well. The shower and toilet upstairs were also very nice and clean.
