Overview
Composed of thoughtfully designed independent bungalows and guestrooms in the annex house of a 19th-century building, Hotel Rose offers comfortable accommodation and a peaceful atmosphere. The residence is set in a verdant park full of trees and flowers. Some of the accommodation opens out onto the river that leads to the famous Mont Saint Michel and offer a tranquil, relaxing living space. All of the bungalows are independently ecological and can accommodate 4 people (or 5 on request). Enjoy a tasty breakfast, a casual drink or a relaxing moment on the manor's veranda or under the shade of the trees. Hotel Rose also features a shared living area with a piano, free Wi-Fi access, games and plenty of reading material. Nearby you can take quiet walks or bike rides and enjoy traditional and regional cuisine in one of the local restaurants.

Location second to none. Lodge was clean, comfortable and spacious. Staff were excellent and couldn't have been more helpful; offering well received advice about the area. We will be staying again.

“Quaint, friendly, close enough to cycle to Mont St Michel”
Quirky cabins in the large garden, comfortable and quiet. Everything worked fine. Loved the access to the cycleway along the river. Nearby small supermarket, boulangerie across the way, also laundry facilities nearby. Light breakfast available, very friendly staff. All perfect for 2 cyclists.

“Very nice and comfy”
The staff was very kind and supportive. Explained everything I needed to go to Mont-Saint-Michel with great tips on where to eat and how to get there easily and cheaper. The facilities are simple, but quite comfy. Room very clean and organized and had a great size. The hotel was 2 km-away from the shuttle and 4 km from Mont-Saint-Michel. I went by walking twice and it was very easy, enjoying the view. If you like to walk that's a good place to stay. Near good restaurants and bars as well.

Perfect location. Little private rooms in a garden. Very kind hosts, gave good suggestions, spoke French slowly and clearly, and lied the beautiful artwork all around. Breakfast was delicious served in the glasshouse room sitting in the sun. It was a cold night and I thankfully there was an extra blanket, it was needed. Just hard to get out of bed when it’s so cold.

“Perfect location for Mont St Michel, with wonderful hosts and a great family room.”
A beautiful location, we stayed for two nights in a family gîte on site in beautiful gardens, really peaceful setting close to the main house where we had breakfast. Our hosts were fabulous, so helpful and took time to really explain all the location could offer. Walking distance (5k) to Mont St Michel or only 2k to pick up the free shuttle that takes you right to the entrance. Lots of local restaurants/bars to choose from, all really welcoming. We also visited Alligator bay, a reptile zoo - an absolute must for any tortoise/turtle lovers like our son - they have a lot of tortoises to see and an area where you can hang out and pet giant tortoises!! A fantastic stay overall.
