“An amazing guesthouse”

Les Clos Rodolphe is a guesthouse housed in an 18th-century mansion in the medieval town of Beaulieu sur Dordogne. The town's location makes it ideal for visiting the surrounding small towns within short driving. The entire house is decorated with period objects, creating a luxurious and cozy atmosphere. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom and shower were completely renovated. The breakfast was excellent. Thierry and Philippe are exceptional hosts, knowledgeable about local history and points of interest. I recommend this accommodation for those seeking unique experiences, but with all the comforts of a luxury hotel.

“A 2 night break from the work on our house”

A wonderful historic building set in the centre of the historic village of Beaulieu Sur Dordogne. Parking was easy on the street just outside the village and there are discrete car parks scattered around the village. The hosts and people in general were welcoming and genuinely warm. Our hosts made us very comfortable in their beautiful home. If you want ideas on renovation and interior design then this is the place for you. The room was very spacious and well appointed and even had tea and coffee making facilities. The ensuite facilities were well equipped and everything worked as it should. The bed was very comfortable and we rested very well. Breakfast was special with local fruit juices, home made breads and cake and conserves made by the hosts who were attentive and informative. Unfortunately the weather was not good enough to have breakfast on the terrace but look forward to that treat the next time we stay but felt really special having our second night's breakfast in the old kitchen which the hosts along with the rest of the house had renovated with style and care.

Everything about this place was excellent. The guest house is situated in the medieval heart of the town. The owners are so friendly and hospitable, Thierry and Philippe made us so welcome. The rooms are decorated to a very high standard and are filled with all manner of antiqueties. The breakfast was superb.

We loved Beaulieu and the Clos is right in the heart of the old town near the R Dordogne. The rooms were beautifully and lovingly furnished and everything worked perfectly. Thierry was a kind and helpful host and served us delicious breakfasts, recommending excellent routes around the Lot.

Gorgeous large room in a very beautiful period property, with chandeliers, statues, ornate wallpaper, etc. The location within the town is also great, with many nice places to eat nearby. The host was very friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast on the terrace with homemade jam was lovely.
