Loved the creative attention that has into the cottage. Best mattress on the trip so far.

The house was pet frendly very roomy for 2 people, it was private and fenced for the dogs ,no road noise , a real karoo farm atmosphere, firewood was provided, and I loved it there

I chose Silwerkaroo after passing by last year and stopping for Coffee at the Padstal run by the property. I went this year seeking solitude and quiet and was not dissapointed. I had 5 wonderful days doing nothing but relax, read, and enjoy the views. The Padstal on the property, run by the same owners, offers simple but good home-baked refreshements, and good conversation. The property is self-catering but the facilities to prepare your own food were everything you could need. Even a Braai available for those who enjoy that style of cooking.

It was the most beautifully and creatively decorated space we have yet encountered. Whoever does it is an artist.

The place is beautifully and tastefully decorated. It is old world farm style, yet contemporary and we felt welcome the moment we set foot there. Henco is the most charming host and treated us as friends. He brought figs and even arranged for meat from the farm stall for our braai. He showed us around and then left us to enjoy the silence and peace the majestic Karoo offered. I recommend this to anyone who needs an overnight stay or a break away that is stylish, yer affordable!

I loved how secluded it was, I loved the interiors as it was quite eccentric and there was attention to every detail. I beg everyone that comes here to please go star gazing it was absolutely breathtaking!

EVERYTHING! What a hidden gem. The most beautifully decorated little cottage with such lovely touches. Our dog also thoroughly enjoyed being able to stretch her legs.

The quirky decor and the peacefulness

Rustic 1 bed cottage in a beautiful setting of the Karoo. Intriguing decor with interesting memorabilia of yesteryear. Enjoyed studying all these old pieces of "art". Very quiet & peaceful place on a Karoo farm. It was comfortable & well equipped with everything we needed for our stay.

Looked like time stood still in our house. We were tremendously satisfied with our sleepover. The braai inside the kitchen was so great, we sat around the kitchen table having a lekker skaapbraai in the Karoo. It was amazing
