Volume of space large cool rooms the décor/ furniture very well though out it was tasteful and kept in character with the house. Peaceful miles from anyone that suites me and my partner but still connected very good internet. I would like to return .

“A self-catering hidden gem”
This little gem is tucked away and offers solitude with only the adorable passing Dorper sheep as a distraction. We stayed in the 1 bedroom cottage. The bed was huge, silent (no creaking) with beautiful bedding in a spacious bedroom. The bathroom had a good size shower and soft towels . The kitchen was immaculate with all one needs to prepare one's evening braai and farm breakfast. Firewood, fire lighters and braai utensils all ready and waiting. Welcoming Ina was there on our arrival and explained everything we needed to know. We went mountain biking along the roads in the area in the morning and vowed this will be our stop from now on, when on another self-catering road trip. Thank you !!! We had the most beautiful stay!

Loved the plunge pool and that the water is clean for each visitor. Loved the remoteness as it was so peaceful to be totally alone. I would imagine that if we had to share the property - as is likely with the additional rooms it would have felt very different.

The house was lovely. You get a real farm experience. Very private and safe. We loved the screens at the doors and windows to keep the bugs and mozzies out. More than enough firewood supplied. An inside and outside barbeque which was great as the wind was howling during our visit. Very spacious and well equiped.
