Overview
Located in historic Central Beaufort less than 1 mile from the Waterfront Park, this Inn offers a daily homemade breakfast. Built in 1864 and featuring antique decor, guests can relax on the spacious veranda. Rooms at the Rhett House have a fireplace and access to the veranda. Each classically decorated room is equipped with cable TV, a DVD player and free Wi-Fi. Guests of the Rhett House Inn can explore Beaufort by taking advantage of the free bicycle hire or going on a horse and carriage historic tour. A full southern breakfast is served each morning. In the afternoon, guests can dine on tea and pastries. Hors d’oeuvres and desserts are served in the evening. Hunting Island State Park is 20 minutes’ drive from the property. Parris Island is 10 miles away.

“Fantastic stay in Beaufort South Carolina”
Room was spacious with comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of coffee. Air conditioning and fan. Particularly liked sitting out on the balcony in evening with glass of wine, cheese crackers and nuts. Location close to town for restaurants and shops.

The room, no 5, the bedding and the decor throughout. Also unexpected cheeseboard and desserts in the evening. Very helpful staff.

There is a lot of mahogany wood especially in the bathrooms could have been dusted a little better. There was some dust around the edges of the ceiling above the shower.

“Great stay at the Rhett House”
Loved the spacious cozy rooms. Enjoyed choosing my own breakfast from the menu. Liked the wine and cheese in the parlor and the proximity to downtown. Staff was very gracious as well.

Everything was to perfection! Room was clean, cute and bed comfortable. Staff very professional and helpful. Food was perfect. They helped with travel ideas and even offered a park pass for the beach! Pecan pie and key lime pie waiting on the counter when you returned in the evening blew us away
