Overview
This traditional house and former coaching inn has been a hotel in Beaufort for over 200 years. Auberge Rustique is in the area of Luxembourg known as Little Switzerland. It boasts a quiet location and a restaurant. Each of the rooms has a seating area with cable TV. Guests also benefit from free WiFi throughout the hotel. The German-Luxembourgian Nature Park is less than a 10-minute drive from Auberge Rustique. Echternach, which features the famous Basilica, is 20 minutes away by car. “Amazing friendly place, made me feel at home”
I had an amazing stay here. The People running this place were amazing and welcoming. Each time that I came back from a hike they were so welcoming, they really made me feel at home. They gave lots of tips on hiking as well. Location is also perfect, right next to some of the Mullerthal trails.

It’s an older place so has a lot of character. Loved that it was located near an intersection of 3 different hiking trails. Very nice garden to relax in after a hike. Dog friendly as well which was amazing.

Excellent breakfast and friendly staff, nice location about 500 metres from the bus stop. Close to the starting point of hiking routes and the Beaufort castle. Also a good restaurant in the house.

I have stayed here before 11 years ago It is one of the most beautiful villages in north Luxembourg in the Petit Suisse & Mullerthal area with a wonder old castle Amazing walks & nature in the forest The cafe restaurant is cosy with great food & very friendly staff Patrick the owner is so friendly & helpful There is a local buses that go in to Luxembourg City each hour & public transport is free I will definitely go back & stay there

Great location - the best if you want to visit the castle. Very cordial hosts. I had a window on the terrace side of the restaurant, but there was no noise. The restaurant serves delicious trout and Luxembourg wines, so by the way, I recommend it.

Nice tidy room. Cosy restaurant. Dutch, englisch, deutch and french speaking owners. Good breakfast. Nice place close to forest and castle at Beaufort.

“Amazing location and lovely place to stay”
This is a lovely traditional hotel / Auberge. Historical building. It serves good food and its location next to the Castle and forest is fantastic. The food was good and we eat there twice. Beaufort is a lovely village and we would recommend catching the bus to Luxembourg City as its free (change onto the fast tram at Expo). The walks in the area are great in a unique forest environment. Everything about the Auberge was what we expected. It was cosy in our room with a dog but clean and comfortable.
