“We had a lovely stay and would recommend”

Lovely house in v pretty setting. Good welcome and support from the owner. Close to the Gap of Dunloe and easy 20 min drive or so into Killarney, which is buzzing and good fun.

Pet friendly. Great location. Clean. Spacious accommodation.

The host was friendly and welcoming on arrival, but stayed around chatting for quite a while, while we were trying to unpack and prepare dinner, and asked several questions about our dog. We appreciate Irish hospitality, but it felt a little intrusive when we were hoping for more discretion and immediate privacy. We also weren't aware until a few days before arrival that utilities (electricity/heating) are charged separately—this wasn't mentioned in the listing. The amount was negligible for us, but could add up for larger groups or longer stays, so clearer upfront information would be helpful. The host arrived unannounced before checkout to collect it. That said, the house itself is lovely, the location is excellent—peaceful and scenic—and we had no issues. Facilities are basic (which was fine), though the main bed was less comfortable. Overall, a pleasant stay in a great rural spot, just worth noting the host's hands-on style and extra utilities cost if privacy and full transparency are priorities.

Everything was brilliant, the house was lovely, plenty of room and parking. The host was very kind and helfpul, she left a lovely welcome pack of breakfast items. I couldnt recommend it more! We attended a wedding in the Dunloe hotel nearby and it was very convenient.

Excellent location, nice view from the house. Anne was very helpful in planning our local visits ... Very clean house, well maintained lawn - kids really enjoyed, great family house.

Location was excellent for climbing carrantohill and only 10 mins drive to Killarney. Host was amazing, house was beautiful

“Exceptional house in amazing location”

Absolutely fantastic 5 day stay. The house is in a stunning location with a view of snow topped mountain range behind the property when we were there in mid April. Excellent comms from owner pre arrival and Ann met us on arrival with friendly welcome and explained everything you needed to know about the house and useful information about the area. Great to have 4 bedrooms and 4 ensuites helps everyone to get ready in the morning! Very comfy beds. Would highly recommend.
