“Absolutely beautiful setting with the most wonderful hosts!”

Such a beautiful setting! We had a very spacious , immaculately designed and clean room that was filled with everything to make our stay perfect. It was clear Veronique and Richard had thought about every aspect of making their guests feel welcome and cared for with a selection of teas, coffee, bottled water and sweet treats. We especially enjoyed having a jug of fresh milk in the fridge! The bed had beautifully fresh French cotton sheets and was extremely comfortable, and towels and slippers were provided. Breakfast was fabulous with a selection of cereals, yogurt and fresh fruit as well a fresh pastries, cold meats and cheese. Richard also made us boiled eggs on request. Saving the best till last … Veronique and Richard are the most welcoming and wonderful hosts that clearly enjoy providing a fabulous stay in their beautiful home for their visitors. We will definitely be back!

We booked our stay at the last minute and wow what a trip we have had. Richard and Veronique have been the perfect hosts and we can’t wait to come back. Every little detail has been carefully thought out and planned by the wonderful hosts and this has made our stay extra special. We are torn between telling everyone about it and keeping Le Presbytere as France’s best kept secret!

Beautiful renovation of a lovely old house. It is very clean and a real privilege to stay there. Spacious bedroom with everything that you could wish for. Very comfortable bed. Richard and Veronique were very kind, thoughtful and generous hosts. Beauficel is a lovely peaceful hamlet in a very quiet location. We had a great breakfast with lots of nice things to eat and drink. We would love to stay there again and will recommend it to our family and friends.

“Quiet and peaceful place to find some rest.”

It was a well organised, beautiful and authentic place. There was enough place to relax and the access to nature was easy. The owners were a lovely couple who had time and eye for our needs. One day we came back from a hike very thirsty and tired and they provided us with refreshing drinks and ice cream. It was the little things that will definitely make us come back to the place.

We enjoyed our stay very much and would thoroughly recommend this excellent chambre d'hôte to others. It is in a lovely, quiet, rural idyll, and renovated to a high standard, with lots of charm. Veronique and Richard help to make you feel very welcome and comfortable and they were at pains to let us know that, should we have needed anything, they would try their best to help. In addition, Veronique made us lovely teas in the pretty garden, which was very welcome in this hot spell, so we felt very relaxed and at home. We were lucky to be upgraded, as it was a quiet Sunday, and we thoroughly enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the morning. We would have liked to stay longer! Thank you to Veronique and Richard for their hard work.

Very warm welcome from our hosts, Veronique & Richard who went above & beyond to make our stay really enjoyable. Our room was decorated beautifully, spotlessly clean & the bed very comfortable.The mini fridge in the room was handy, with fresh milk & fruit juice topped up daily. Also little sweet treats provided were very welcome. Great selection for continential breakfast.
