Sanjay was amazing! Upon arrival we were upgraded to a honeymoon suite as newlyweds! We received 2 complimentary cocktails, a bottle of wine, breakfast table on the beach and even a pair of earrings! The room and view were lovely. Sanjay let us have a late check out as we had an evening flight, it was very much appreciated to be able to freshen up before our long flight. We had dinner in the sushi restaurant on sight and watched a beautiful sunset, breakfast was fantastic, so many options! Facilities were great and the hotel is in an excellent location. To be completely honest, this wasn't our primary choice. Initially, we had booked a 5-star hotel, but after they cancelled our reservation unilaterally at the last minute, we had to quickly pivot and chose Coral Strand instead. Looking back at everything that happened over these four nights, we realize we absolutely didn't lose out — in fact, we made the perfect choice. ​Here are a few things that made our stay stand out: ​Convenience & Layout: The hotel is incredibly convenient, well-thought-out, and compact. Everything you need is close by, making the daily routine seamless and completely stress-free. ​Outstanding Breakfast: The breakfast here is very good, featuring a great variety of options. As someone who appreciates high-quality food, I was highly impressed by the massive selection of fresh fruits and vegetables every single morning. ​Exceptional Management & Service: The level of service and hotel management deserves a separate mention. The management team is genuinely customer-oriented; they always go the extra mile to accommodate guests and proactively find solutions that leave everyone satisfied.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Coral Strand Hotel, the location and beach were excellent. The Asian restaurant food was great as were all the staff. We have to mention the standout staff member Shihan (guest services) who went well beyond his remit when we encountered a problem with our first room and subsequently a cancelled fight with the need for extra night’s stay. His professionalism, knowledge, understanding and efficiency made it all worry free – Thankyou.

The Hotel, the beach, the staff...everything was above our expectations. A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Chamara and Mr. Shihan for the wonderful service they provided during our stay. They were warm, attentive, and highly professional at all times, ensuring we felt comfortable and well looked after. We were also pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, which made our stay even more special. Their genuine hospitality and dedication made our experience truly enjoyable and unforgettable.

It’s on the beach front and the staff is lovely. The food was also absolutely amazing.

The location is incredible and staff is so helpful. Even if your flight gets in early, you can change and use all the hotel facilities as they try their best to get the room ready in advance. Breakfast is great and we got a free upgrade on the room!

We had a very pleasant night at this hotel. The room was clean, the staff was very friendly. Special thanks to Mrs Eva and Mr. Shihan for their kindness and help during our stay. The hotel offers very good value for the money, especially considering the service and direct location on the beau vallon beach.

The staff was so welcoming and always trying to make you feel at home. Shihan and Sanjay were adorable and so helpful all the time. We could not have had a better time. Another thing we really loved was the quality of the breakfast. There was lot of choice and everything was delicious. Moreover, you can enjoy your breakfast in front of the sea !

We had a very pleasant stay, mainly thanks to the incredible kindness and professionalism of the staff. From the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout the holiday. A special thank you goes to Shihan from Guest Relations, Mica and Sakura at the front desk, as well as Prasanta and Danushka from the restaurant team and executive chefs Ridwan and Pauljoe. Their friendliness, attention, and willingness to help truly made the difference and added a personal touch to the whole experience. The hotel also enjoys an excellent location directly on one of the most beautiful beaches in Mahé, which made the stay even more enjoyable and relaxing. The atmosphere created by the team was really the highlight for us, and we sincerely appreciate all the effort and warmth shown during our time there.
