Nestled in the tranquil surroundings of Maitland Nature Park, Thunzi Bush Lodge offers country style, self-catering accommodation with traditional décor and a balcony with forest views. Fantastic location in the bush, close to the sea and dunes. Staff were great and very helpful. Lots to do - walks, dam, beach, dune boarding and not far from Gqeberha. And brilliant wood fired hot tub.

“Unique and awesome place”
Special, quiet and unique accomodation. You are located in the middle of nowhere in a clean and spacious apartment with a hot tub. The view from the terrace is beautiful. We had a great time with the kids in Thunzi Lodge.

Really tranquil setting. The emphasis here is on self catering, there is no restaurant and the only common area really is the pool but this was exactly what we needed. It's like having your own cabin in the bush. The cottages are superbly equipped and lacked nothing to make us comfortable, very impressive!

“Anniversary getaway”
Close to home but felt like you were completely secluded from city life. The woodfired hot tub was a lovely touch and very enjoyable. The pool area is beautiful and well maintained. The look out offers stunning views but I would recommend a 4x4 to get there. The rooms are lovely, with a great couch and very good quality bedding.
