Overview
Villa Lara is a small luxury boutique hotel in the historic centre of Bayeux. It faces the 11th-century cathedral is is just a 2-minute walk from the Bayeux Tapestry. The luxury accommodation features period-style furniture, a flat-screen TV and a minibar. They have an individual colour theme using neutral tones and printed fabrics. Each has a private bathroom with a marble floor, bathrobes and slippers. A buffet breakfast of fresh pastries and hot coffee is offered every morning in the dining room. Guests can also relax in the empire-style bar before dining in the nearby restaurants. Private parking is free on site and Omaha Beach is 10 km from the hotel. It can be accessed from Bayeux SNCF Train Station, which is 850 metres away. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.

Hotel waa beautiful and perfectly situated in centre of town and within easy reach of the DDay beaches. Staff were extremely attentive and friendly. Making us feel special and very welcome. Delightful breakfast and cosy bar area where we enjoyed sone delicious pre dinner cocktails . Special thanks to Muriel for her helpful and friendly manner . Would definitely recommend and stay again

I highly recommend Villa Lara as a place to stay. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are beautiful and the food is outstanding. The location is also perfect and there is safe parking on the property.

“Wonderful hotel for your visit to Normandy”
The location is perfect and the staff is exceptional. Loved the courtyard in late afternoon and wonderful view of the cathedral from our room. Buffet breakfast is good but a little pricey! There are great places within 5 minutes to pick up pastries and get coffee. We had wonderful tours of Normandy and Mont Saint-Michel. We did not book through hotel but they can make all arrangements for you to take these tours. Their staff is extraordinarily responsive.

Lovely cosy hotel, located in heart of Bayeux. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed and room was a good size. Breakfast was very nice and in a homely dining area. We really enjoyed our stay here

“A bit overpriced in the off season”
It was a nice hotel, the staff were amazing but overpriced for what you get. It was definitely nice, but it was 300 euros in the off-season when every other hotel was 100 euros. I probably would have stayed elsewhere
