An amazing 15th century manor centrally located in the heart of Bayeux. Franck is a fabulous host, genuine and caring, with attention to detail and makes a terrific omelette. You will not be disappointed.

A lovely old building, beautifully restored and in a great location, in the heart of Bayeux but tucked away and quiet. The rooms are lovely and well appointed, ours even had a kitchen corner. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly and we had a great breakfast with a delicious omelette cooked by the host. We hope to come back in the future.

In a great location - easy walking distance to restaurants. The room was fabulous - very spacious, great bathroom and a cosy kitchenette. The breakfast served in the main house was a delicious selection of French pastries, fruit, yoghurt and fabulous omelettes made to order by our very hospitable host Frank. A special mention to Boo-Boo the 'chat de maison'.

Beautiful character building in the heart of bayeaux

“Wonderful stay”

Frank is a wonderful host. He also lays on a sumptuous breakfast including omelette, fruits, breads, cheeses, yogurt, coffees and teas. Everything for a good start of the day. We liked sitting with other guests around a big table. The bedrooms as well as the rest of the property is big and beautiful and fitted out with quality fittings. I don't have any negative feelings about it. It is also a short walk into the centre of this beautiful town.

“Spontaneous medieval and romantic experience you can’t find anywhere else!”

The bed is super comfortable! The breakfast, especially the omelette made by the host, is delicious! The room looks exactly like the pictures and if you really want to experience a real medieval room built in the 15th century, this is it! You walk up the swirling stone staircase in a tower, with wooden floor that gives a crackling sound to the old European stone floors for the bathroom and corridor. Everything in the room is clean and comfortable. The kitchenette had everything- microwave, coffee machine, water kettle, plates, bowls etc!

I cannot say anything negative about this hotel, whatsoever. It is such a beautiful place to stay and very stylishly designed. Frank, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful, and cooks a fantastic omelette for breakfast! It's right in the centre of Bayeux and I shall definitely stay there again if I'm in the area as it's a perfect place to stay!

A really unique experience. A romantic and atmospheric manor with large rooms with all modern comforts. Very hospitable and polite host. Homemade French breacfast. Location ideal, two minutes from the centre of beautiful Bayeux, very convenient for trips to the D Day beaches.

Everything about our stay was exceptional. Our Host Frank is so helpful and friendly while keeping it professional. Would couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more and were sad to leave. When we revisit we will definitely stay here again and will recommend to others.
