“Wonderful stay in a historic Tower.”

Staying in an old historic tower was such a great experience. I was worried that it would feel cold overnight being such an old building, but once we turned on the heaters and closed the shutters, it became so warm and cosy! The room is in a perfect location on the main street - we walked everywhere. The host was very friendly and gave us lots of tips for our stay.

We recently stayed at the apartment in Bayeux, France and we were extremely satisfied with our experience. The accommodation exceeded our expectations in every aspect. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The hostess was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The location was also convenient, allowing us to easily explore the charming town of Bayeux. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this accommodation to others visiting the area.

The history of the building and location were great. Paula was very responsive and informative about the area. Just around the corner from the pick up area for tours out of Bayeux.

Do yourself a favour and stay here. The host, Paula, is friendly, incredibly kind and helpful. The room is tastefully decorated, peaceful and private. We slept so well! The area is stunning, with everything you need including delicious food, shopping, and amazing history. A little piece of luxury in the heart of Bayeux. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Everything! It’s truly a gem in the centre of Bayeux. The apartment was beautifully furnished, with just what we needed for a week long stay and more. We liked that information was provided about where to visit regionally too. Our host, Paula, booked restaurants for us before we arrived and was welcoming and friendly.

The location of the apartment was fantastic and so convenient for local attractions and restaurants etc. The property itself was lovely - full of character, immaculately maintained, clean, and very comfortable. The garden was beautiful, and our host, Paula, was so kind, helpful and welcoming.

Our host Paula was extremely helpful showing us around and explaining herself being American and why she lives in France plus the history of the gorgeous medieval tower we stayed in.

“Beautiful large attic room in the heart of Bayeaux”

Paula and her family were welcoming and onsite - really helpful and organised dinner reservations at a lovely restaurant. They have beautifully restored this property in the heart of Bayeaux meaning cafes, restaurants, the Cathedral, Bayeaux tapestry and the superb boulangeries were only a stones throw away. Room was well equipped. The velux windows meant we could listen to the bird song in the morning and the beautiful bells of the Cathedral. I couldn't recommend this stay more. One comment - steps up to the room could be challenging for someone with mobility issues.

Paula greeted us at the front of the accommodation. she spent a lot of time getting us acclimatised to our “home”. It was just a short stroll to most of the sights (10 minutes). We loved the character of the tower (about 1640ish).

This property in Bayeux was chosen not only as a base for exploring the WWII beaches but also for exploring Bayeux itself - we could not have chosen better! Having notified Paula the morning of our arrival that we would be there earlier than expected, not only did she go out of her way to make sure that the room was ready but she was stood out in the street looking to welcome us to her fabulous home! The apartment, situated on the top floor of a medieval tower was an ideal location; a few minutes walk from all of the main amenities (bars, restaurants, boulangeries, fromageries) and easily accessible from the train station (a 10 minute walk away) and easy to find for our WWII beach guide. Paula was incredibly helpful and provided us with a lot of useful information as well as booking a restaurant for us. The apartment was excellent; spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable with everything that you could want, including a great shower, TV (with Netflix), a fridge (for the wine!) and plenty of tea and coffee. We even had access to an outside seating area which was a real suntrap. We would recommend this apartment to anyone staying in Bayeux.

we were on the third floor of a very old tower, but it had been beautifully restored, and our 3 night stay was so comfortable. Paula met us personally, and took us through the ins and outs of the accommodation which was so helpful. Bayeux itself is a gem, a perfect place for tours of the d-day beaches and museums. we couldn’t have enjoyed our stay anymore then we did, it was superb.

Paula met us at the front door, let us in, introduced us to her cat and showed us around. Gave plenty of tips and local information. We had an issue with a sink, Paula gave some advice for a short term fix and we are sure a long term fix will be in place soon.

This little apartment on the top floor of an ancient tower is perfect for a short stay. It's clean, very comfortable, well equipped and in a great location. The host is brilliant with communication and also made us some delightful restaurant reservations. We would highly recommend.

Well presented loft apartment in a great location, central to Bayeaux. Despite the accommodation being in a 17th century tower it was light, airy, warm and clean. The tower itself was an impressive structure which was aesthetically pleasing. The owner was helpful and responsive without being intrusive.

Paula was a lovely host! The tower was full of character and charm , also plenty of information. The location was perfect for the town .

Host provided her Netflix account so it was great to be able to watch TV and chill.
