“Lovely, well-appointed home in Bayeux centre”

A very pleasant and immaculately clean property within a very short walk of Bayeux main streets. Very airy and roomy over 3 floors with loads of space to relax, watch tv, eat or play pool. We had a lovely warm welcome from host Christine who gave good instructions about the house and local facilities. The house itself is really nice, well-equipped and full of unique and thoughtfully curious furnishings. Parking was no problem as the car park across the street is free from 18:00 to 09:00 and Christine gave us a badge to use for the on-street parking outside.

Perfect place. when driving from Ireland to France, make this your first stop and stay here for a few days. Bayeux is worth spending a few nights in.

Excellent communication with hosts. So close to the town and railway station. Beautiful outdoor space to use, which we took advantage of. Very large home, could accomodate a large family or group easily.

Perfect Hosts….. Beautiful house, with imaginative and fun decor. Well equipped and furnished. Perfect location and base to explore the Normandy area plus minutes away from Bayeux town centre.

We had a wonderful stay and would recommend La Closerie Teranga to everyone! Our kids were sad we had to move on to the next part of our trip because they didn’t want to leave.

“Great location suitable for family with children”

Fantastic location. You enter the property via a courtyard and then go up 9 steps to a garden and the entrance to the apartment. Off of the foyer is a small powder room with cold water sink and to the left you go up a few steps to a nice kitchen. Further down the hall is a large dining room and stairs up to the 2nd floor. You enter a pool room and the living room is to the left and a bedroom with a queen size bed to the right. Another set of stairs brings you to the 3rd floor. Here there is an area to the left with 3 single beds suitable for children that is curtailed off. To the right is a large bathroom with barn doors. Walking through the bathroom is the third bedroom with a queen bed. One wall of this room is shared with the shower and is made up of glass blocks. The apartment had tall beautiful windows on the 1st and 2nd floor. It is decorated with lots of knickknacks which must be a lot of work to dust.

Great location - just minutes’ walk to everything. Lovely large garden area. Spacious living room/games room. Very clean throughout. Very quiet, even though very central. We had anticipated parking issues, but the owner gave us permits that worked in spaces a few minutes’ walk away. To load and unload luggage and groceries, you can park momentarily in a paying car park directly across the road. Great restaurants, cafes etc a short walk from the property.

Location fabulous. House well equipped and very comfortable. Hosts very helpful - even came in mid-week when we couldn't get TV projector to work.

This was perfect for 2 couples. The accommodation was clean and had a kitchen and everything we needed. The location was fantastic - only a few minutes walk into the centre of Bayeux. There was an outdoor area with table and chairs for us to share some afternoon drinks - and it even had a pool table! We would love to return to this beautiful town and would definitely recommend staying at La Closerie Teranga.

Great location: 5 minutes from center/ cathedral but in a quiet street. The apartment is really well kept and very original- yet practical, many facilities and kitchenware. The garden is amazing! Our welcome and departure were really easy. Great hosts!
