The apartment has been partially renovated with new flooring, windows, a modern kitchen and an updated bathroom — all in very good condition. It comfortably accommodated our family of five (two adults and three children) across two bedrooms with a double bed each, plus a sofa bed in the living room. The cleanliness was impeccable, and both the kitchen and bathroom were fully equipped with everything you need. Being on the first floor is actually a plus given there is no elevator — easy access with no hassle. The apartment was quiet and peaceful throughout our stay. But what truly stood out was the hospitality. Jeanne welcomed us warmly, provided genuinely useful local tips, and had thoughtfully left a welcome basket in the fridge with wine, water, small jams and madeleine cakes. A lovely personal touch that set the tone for the whole stay. Overall, a very good experience and easy to recommend.

Excellent location for access to D-Day beaches, Bayeux. Easy on site parking. Very generously and thoroughly stocked with coffee, tea, biscuits , small cakes, jams, spices, etc. Includes an exprresso maker and washer/dryer. Good bakery within an easy walk, supermarkets nearby. The owner was solicitous and helpful beyond expectations.

“D-Day Landings- Superb Base, Exceptional Hosts!”

I took my partner, and three teenagers. Two very comfortable double beds, with a high end sofa bed in the lounge. The location of this apartment is ideal for visiting all the War points of interest. Its pretty central for all the beach visits, memorials and museums. The apartment was super clean, comfortable and well presented. We were met by the wonderful host- Zhanna who was exceptional from start to finish. Zhanna and Gilles genuinely care. From messaging before you arrive to break the ice, to being attentive. They really look at all the small details. Meticulous. We couldn't have been any happier with our experience!

“Wonderfull accommodation”

Needed transport to get into the city. We had a car so not a problem. Places to park in the city for free were highlighted by host and a city map was provided. A private garage for parking is provided. Security is good and the location is quiet residential. This is an ideal stay for using as a base for touring the Normandy beaches.

“Super Accomodation, Super Hosts”

Everything was wonderful. Zhanna is a great hostess, made us feel very welcome, showed us around the apartment and its facilities and happily recommended local places to eat , shop and visit. A great welcome pack with fresh flowers in the lounge, wine, cake, biscuits and water in the kitchen. Overall a very comfortable accomodation in a quiet situation with excellent facilities. Next to the botanical gardens, close to the ring road, a short walk to supermarket, Bayeux War Cemetery and 1944 museum.. Use of secure garage.

The place was exactly what we needed. Very spacious place with a fully equipped kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and impeccably clean. They were super friendly and helpful hosts and welcomed us with some yummy snacks and a bottle of a nice local wine. They have a lot of information about the area which was very useful to us. They quickly responded any questions we had and took the time to provide any details needed. We highly recommend this place.

Zhanna and Gilles are super nice hosts. Welcome package of local specialties was a lovely surprise. Lots of leaflets and tourist materials they have helped us to organize our daily trips. They've also shared some good tips on what's happening in the city. Flat was super clean, comfy and very well equipped. Lots of space for family of 4, cozy beds. Garage was a great bonus as we rented a car. Location is great for beaches' trips. Very good local bakery nearby, supermarket is also close.

Clean, tidy & everything catered for beautifully. Beds and pillows very comfortable, both bedrooms nicely presented. Use of all the facility in the apartment, good size bathroom and lounge comfortable. Managed to get our estate car into the garage no problem. Nice quiet Road.

Very easy walk into Bayeaux and Super U is nearby. The property was perfect for our needs.
