The location was perfect, just a short stroll to the centre of Bayeux. The apartment dates back to the late 17th century, full of charm and history. It was peaceful, elegant & quiet. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

I was really cozy apartment with nice host. Apartment is located just in the town and has good connection both to the old town, as well as main transport roads to main destinations. It was very comfortable to stay, and kitchen was full of everything, you need to prepare French dinner at home. Thank you Heloïse again!

It’s a lovely place, but there are some big bugs… Location is great, apartment and the building it’s in are both lovely. Host friendly and helpful. Loved the airy feel, tall windows, high ceilings etc. kitchen is well equipped, bathroom (small) is good.

Ideally located to the centre of the city with modern fittings and well set up kitchen. A second separate toilet would have been a welcome addition.

Good Roomy apartment in great location

Really lovely bright and airy apartment in such a fantastic location. All the museums were on our doorstep and it was really nice to be able to walk into the centre for meals and drinks.

Beautiful building, tastefully renovated in a great location. It was spacious and clean, with a full kitchen allowing us to cook delicious meals from suppliers we purchased at the lovely local market

The apartment is beautiful, so bright and spacious and the location is fantastic, only metres away from the tapestry and very near to the cathedral and town, shops and restaurants.

“WONDERFUL APPARTMENT WITH A BACKLASH”

The Appartment is part of a historic building, surrounded by other apartments. There is a gate. The owners live off-site (and need to be given 20’ notice to meet up for access). The family only visits occasionally (“once a month”), the rest of the time it is rented out. The interior is spacious (except for the bathroom) and very well designed. There is a lovely garden. Parking is available right in front of the building (free) and, if complete, not far away (paying). Max 4 hours (from 9-20h). A bakery can be found at 200m (closed on Fridays; alternatives on Rue St Jean at 600-800m). The principal sites are nearby, on hop-scotch distance. We very much liked the nearby restaurant La Rapière (off Rue St Jean), boasting a Bib Gourmand (Michelin), run by a charming energetic couple.

Absolutely delightful apartment, I could have stayed there forever. Fantastic location right in the heart of everything. Restaurants only a few hundred metres away, yet the property was whisper quiet.

Beautiful apartment in excellent location. Very close to Bayeaux Tapestry, in the centre of the town. The cider left for us was a nice touch and our host was very helpful and welcoming. The beds were comfy and the area is very quiet. We would highly recommend!
