Diana was a fantastic host. Very welcoming and a great help advising restaurants, places of interest etc. Would thoroughly recommend Aggarthi.

The whole place had character, our host Diane was so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Having a small fridge , kettle and drinks making facilities was useful. Lovely lounge space to relax. reading material, games, radio even a table football was fun. The garden had plenty of varied seating. Breakfast was great, good variety and relaxed. Loved the large table for guests to get to know each other and share travel experiences with Diane at hand for ideas and practical help. The self contained kitchenette with coffee machine, kettle, microwave, hob and fridge was an added bonus. Finally the position was just pefect, so central for all the main tourist attractions. We throughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much Diane.

Perfect location, great atmosphere in the B&B with the owner, Diane (very nice and helpful), her animals (❤️🐾❤️) and beautiful garden. Feels like you’re in a different world. Will surely come back!

I booked this property mainly for the secure car park - but it was a joy to stay there. Lovely room, wonderful garden with lots of wildlife (including free-range rabbits) and quirky garden sculptures, a very good breakfast, easy walking distance of the town centre and above all an exceedingly helpful and friendly host. And very reasonably priced “mini bar” in the visitors kitchen

The owner, Diane, is an exceptional host - she gives great information on arrival, provides lots of little extra features ( like a lounge and a small shared kitchen that you can use and makes a delicious breakfast each day with fresh eggs from her chickens.

As we drove from the UK it was essential for parking and as a bonus 200mtrs from town centre. The host Diane was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was was a joy 😊 .

If you are looking for modern then this is not your place to stay. You open the big red double doors to a rustic charm that brings a smile to your face. Our host Diane was awesome and our stay was comfortable and relaxed. The sound of chickens in the courtyard gives it a real country feel and the scrambled eggs from these residents was delicious. Close to the town and restaurants. I would not hesitate to rebook here.

Excellent very friendly host, informative and helpful. The Breakfast Room was a delight. A warm welcome to one and all by our host and her pets. Great for practising your language skills in French. Very relaxing garden for all visitors to share.

Wonderful B&B in an excellent location in Bayeux. Never met such a warm and welcoming hostess. It was like staying in a friends home. From the welcome , check in to the room, everything was perfect. You can use the garden as you please and the breakfast was served at a long table with other guest, creating a really nice atmosphere.. everything was perfect.

“A surprise to find such a quirky, characterful place”

Loved this place, it had so much character. The gardens were gorgeous, the owner friendly and knowledgeable and the breakfast was delicious. Not polished but full of character. My son loves the ping pong and table football!
