A lovely warm welcome from this family-run hotel. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Our room was spacious and well-appointed. Ample parking. Food was excellent and freshly prepared. Thoroughly recommended!

“Very good and friendly place to break your rail trip”
I only stayed for one night since I was in transit but they were very helpful and friendly and the location is good for the train station and the lines into Germany and Czechia.

“Very nice hotel at the Czech-Bavarian border”
Nice hotel in a convenient location. Close to the train station with a good connection to the Bavarian Forest and to the Sumava mountains on the Czech side. Extremely nice and helpful owners and staff. Thank you for a pleasant stay. :-)

“Really sweet hotel in lovely surroundings.”
I would say it represented the best of Bavaria in ambience and decor. To some maybe a little cute but that's what it's all about. Beautiful room, spacious, comfortable, with balcony. The staff were kind friendly and helpful. The restaurant was lovely, food excellent. Access to really nice walks in the Bavarian Forest.
