Very clean, well-equipped kitchen

Great apartment with a lovely, quiet balcony. Kitchen well equipped. We only stayed one night but could have easily stayed longer. Entry via lockbox- very efficient.

This is our second stay at Haus Martin and we had a lovely time once again. Sitting on the balcony looking at the forest was just gorgeous, it was so quiet and peaceful. There are lots of walks on your doorstep and good bus and train connections. We will definitely be back again!

We went here for skiing, so we mostly spend only nights at the premisses. However, it was a pleasant stay. Everything was clean and cosy. Host is very approachable and helpful. We had no issuses whatsoever. The appartment was more spacious than we expected, we were nicely surprised.

Lovely, cosy apartment in a quiet location with excellent access to hiking routes. The balcony overlooking the garden is so peaceful and the kitchen was well equipped (even with cooking oil!). We appreciated the free public transport 'Guti' tickets. Bayerisch Eisenstein is a pretty but small village. It might be useful for travellers without a car to know that there is no shop for groceries in the village, we had to get the train to Železná Ruda in order to buy food etc. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back sometime!

The kitchen was big and had everything we needed-great for cooking for oneself. There was also a nice balcony. The separate bedroom, living room and kitchen were great for our family. Parking was in the driveway right in front of the house.

“Great location for nature lovers”

This property has a great location -- at the edge of the woods, only about 100m from the national park boundary. It's quiet and there are hiking trails close to the property. As a bonus for bird watchers, we had a Red-breasted Flycatcher briefly on the balcony. We only saw it once, so I can't make any promises you will see one too, but at least they are present at this location. The landlord is friendly and offered us pizza at his restaurant in Zeležná Ruda. We spent a lot of time just over the border in Zeležná Ruda, where we can recommend the restaurant U Jelena, the Café Rozhlas, and a blueberry dumpling snack bar behind the fire department. The Bohemian Forest National Park info center has a great exhibition of the park's fauna, flora, and geology in the second floor. Admission is free and it is worth a visit.

WiFi was lagging, but according to the host, it was an issue that occurred on the arrival day (Friday) and couldn't be solved during the stay over the weekend.

Very nice small apartment. The kitchen was good equipped, kitchen utensils were a bit sticky but the rest of the apartment was very clean and quite cosy.
