Everything was absolutely perfect ! Beautiful accommodation in a wonderful location, and a great hostess who fulfilled every wish we had. The room was very clean and cozy, and the breakfast was excellent. Despite the bad weather, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon again.

The property is a perfect retreat for a long weekend in the region. The rooms are lovely and very clean. The grounds are stunning and present a relaxing setting to enjoy the day.

This is a beautifully restored chateau located in the country on a quiet and scenic location. It is well located for traveling to scenic sights such as St. Emillion, various wine estates, and Bordeaux. Our hostess was lovely ,providing a morning breakfast served with homemade breads,jams,yogurt, and locally grown produce.Additionally, she provided suggestions and directions to some interesting places that we would not have known about without her help. A warm and wonderful place to stay.

Absolutely perfect. We loved the warm welcome and departure, super quiet and charming old house, very comfortable, great pool, easily accessible… It does not get better than this.

“Bliss in the French countryside!”

Arriving, we were shown to our room which was spotless and beautiful, kept cool from the heat outside with a fan and beautiful shutters. The furniture throughout has been chosen with care, with attention to detail. This is the same outside in the garden which is well maintained, and the pool kept at the perfect temperature for cooling off. Breakfast was a great spread with homemade jam, huge croissants, freshly squeezed juice and plenty of coffee. The host was the perfect amount of conversation whilst leaving us to it. She created an amazing grazing board and bottle of chilled local wine when we arrived, and had some great recommendations for local shopping and eating out. The town itself is very quiet and laid back, but had events happening by the river and was within walking distance of the domaine. We would love to return!

We had one of the best holidays at this gorgeous Chateau. Emmanuelle is an exception host and loves what she does. This is evident throughout the property and the beautiful landscape, as well as hosts’ care and attention to detail. Immaculately presented, superbly comfortable. Highly recommended!

“Delivered on every level”

Fantastic property and Emmanuelle was wonderful host. Breakfast was superb and the perfect way to start the day. We took advantage of the evening meal option twice and loved both the food and company. The pool area was great but unfortunately the September weather was not the best on this occasion. Emmanuelle very helpful with restaurant options and suggestions on things to do in the area. Location is was perfect for using as a base to explore the Bordeaux area with St Emilion just 25 minutes away.

Our stay at this charming Chambre de Hotes was nothing short of extraordinary. The house itself is amazing, set amidst incredible surroundings with huge, well-preserved old trees that add to the serene ambiance. The garden and house are both beautifully decorated, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The swimming pool is a great addition, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Our room, the dining room, the living room, and the patio are filled with art and an evident love for details. Each space is remarkably beautiful, well-decorated, and immaculately clean. The attention to detail in every corner truly enhances the experience. We opted for the dinner option, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our stay. We had a delightful evening sharing a meal with Emmanuelle, her husband—who is a very well-educated and charming person—and some other guests. The dinner was not only delicious but also wonderfully fulfilling. The conversation flowed easily, making for an evening filled with laughter, interesting discussions, and a sense of community. Emmanuelle's cooking was exceptional, and the warm, convivial atmosphere made the night truly special. The highlight of our experience was undoubtedly the host, Emmanuelle. She is an amazing person—exceptionally helpful, a fantastic cook, and very intelligent. We enjoyed long and fascinating conversations with her, which added a personal touch to our visit. This place is a true hidden gem in Bayas, "Bahia" for expert visitors 😊. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful and enriching getaway.

Emmanuelle is a charming and friendly host. She cooked us a delicious dinner and we enjoyed her company at the table. Our bed was big and comfortable. We enjoyed our swim in the pool at the end of a long day on our bikes.

Everything, it is incredible. Beautiful location, the most amazing couple who run it, spotlessly clean, incredible breakfast, tasteful decor and so peaceful.

Emanuelle and Vincent are superb hosts. This is a top-quality establishment. I had the whole place to myself, and when the only sound you hear are birds singing, you know you have found a very peaceful place. Emmanuel made a fantastic dinner for me, and breakfast was perfect. The bed was super comfortable. The pool is fantastic. I'm already planning my return trip....trust me, this accommodation is special and will not disappoint. English is spoken as well, so that was also nice, but I did learn a few new French words.... If I could give 11 out of 10, I would.

What was not too like. Warm welcome on arrive, the pool was beautiful, room wonderful and the food was perfect our host was a fabulous cook.
