Great place to stay in Bawiti. Owner can organise you 4x4 car with a driver if you want to go around the deserts. Perfect communication via WhatsApp. :)

“Good and reasonably priced hotel who can organise trips to the desert.”

We stayed here for two nights having arranged a jeep safari to the desert through the hotel. Bear in mind that this is not an up market expensive hotel. The room was basic but was clean with a comforable bed, hot water in the shower and had all that was required for our two night stay including an eletric heater, if required, in the winter months. Would advise staying in the delux room rather than the standard room. The breakfast and dinner, whilst not fine dining, were good and plentiful. The staff were pleasant and helpful and we enjoyed our desert safari. We thought the hotel was good value for money. The hotel is in a quiet location about 4 kms out of Bawiti as are quite a few of the hotels.

“Lovely place near farms and hot springs with a nice garden but a little busy”

The garden was LOVELY! It's a beautiful spot and very close to the local hot spring. The staff were great, very friendly. The meals were simple but good. I enjoyed my stay. Also good places to walk nearby in the farms.

“Exceeded our expectations and highly recommended!!”

We only stayed one night at the Safari Camp Bahariya Oasis (which is the same place as Ahmed Safari Camp). Based on the pictures, we didn't have high expectations, but the pictures doesn't do the justice of the place. It is much nicer in real life!! Very good breakfast.. and you get ALOT! Ezz, the owner, was a pleasure to communicate with on their 3 days/2 nights tour-offer which included pickup in Cairo and dropoff in Luxor + all the sights in and around the Oasis (Black and White Desert, Pyramid mountain, Hot and Cold Springs, Salt Lake, English Mountain, Crystal Mountain, Agabat Valley etc etc) which ended with a night under the stars/tent in White Desert. Everything for a good price. The driver that picked us up in Cairo (Mohammed) was a pleasure to drive with and took us safe and sound to the oasis on day 1 and to Luxor on day 3. We were greeted by Ezz, and he and all the staff where superfriendly, welcoming and very professional. Hazeen, who was our guide in and around Baharia on the day we arrived to Bahariya and into the desert on day 2 was fantastic. Friendly, relaxed, professional, very knowledgeable and always with a joke and a twinkle in his eyes! Simply, one of the best tourguides we've had! Definitely coming back to Bahariya to see more of the amazing desert, and will choose the same accomodation/tour organizer!

Cool place to stay if you're travelling solo, but don't expect much useful information about road conditions etc. Staff does its best to be helpful but it's still a place for the package tourist mob. Best feature: Bahariya is out of New Valley so you won't be harassed by police. Otherwise, clean beds and showers, the big boss is is a real character, what else to expext.

comfortable room, staff were friendly and helpful. Ezz helped arrange the transfer to and from Giza and tours to the black and white deserts. Ezz also helped us find a driver to take us to Siwa Oasis. he was extremely helpful. Medhat and Mahmoud were our very experienced drivers, they were very knowledgeable and we learnt a lot about life in the desert and the Bedouin way of life. overall a fantastic experience!

beautiful an peaceful place with garden and some benches under the trees to relax. rooms are ok and have a heating option which was important in January. food was very good. Owners very helpful. They gave us a good price for transfer from Cairo and further to Luxor. We went to desert safari with them. It was marvellous!! the guide Tamer took us to the outstanding places. No other tourists. and in the evening we had a very tasty dinner in the tent near the fire and under the stars. We are recommending this place.
