As a ex hotelier the feeling that the Azalea owners wanted the very best for guests and I think have succeeded. Decor and condition of the hotel is very good. Lovely spacious ensuite with plenty of hot water and excellent shower. Buffet breakfast and service of top quality. Overall value is excellent.

Perfect location - in the center of the city, close to the ferry; private indoor parking; spacious room with 2 terasses, from one of which you have view of the lake;

Loved the location anf fact that they had a parking garzge with a height capacity of 2.4 metres that ment we could park our overheight vehicle. Room was spacious with a large balcony with lake views. Very modern hotel inside with traditional features outside. Small pool and sun lounge area.

We had a lovely welcome from Reception. It is a family run hotel and has a family feel which we really enjoyed. Quite old fashioned in a nice way. There is a cute pool at the side with loungers for a rest after exploring. The hotel is in the quiet streets just off the main roads so very quiet at night. There is a stunning church en route back which we kept popping into - so peaceful and historic. Breakfast good and plentiful. A lot of local people were holidaying there - I think that says it all. Its a little home from home. Great secure parking in a locked garage beside hotel. Viewing place on top floor. There was a light festival on when we were there, we got the most amazing view from there on recommendation from the lovely reception guy. Plenty of lovely bars and restaurants in the vicinity within walking distance. Walk back a street to where the locals eat, there are some really nice ones if you prefer to get away from the main tourist spots, although they're all good.

Great location with secure parking, pool and easy stroll down the hill to the lake. Beds were the best I have slept on in the last 3 weeks of travel. Aircon was invaluable.

Fantastic location and with good parking, the bedroom and bathroom were a good size and the bathroom in particular was well docorated. The breakfast was very good.
