Overview
Set on Baveno's lakeshore, Grand Hotel Dino offers panoramic views across Lake Maggiore. This large and elegant hotel features both indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a wellness centre. Rooms are air conditioned and have classic furniture, a minibar and satellite TV. They overlook the mountains or lake, and many include a private balcony. There is a games room as well as 2 outdoor swimming pools and hot tubs with views across the lake. The wellness centre has both a sauna and Turkish bath. The Dino has a number of restaurants and bars, some of which overlook the lake. Surrounded by gardens, it is next to an interesting art gallery and the jetty for boat trips across the lake. Stresa is 4 km from the hotel, while Milan Malpensa Airport is a 50-minute drive away.

“Very nice surprise”
We’ve been going quite often to Stresa to spend some weekends and on the way I’ve noticed each time this hotel that made we wonder if it was worth trying once. I can now answer to this Austin with a definitive yes. The hotel has great outdoors and a beautiful view of the lake. Great restaurants, bars and beach areas. Very nice staff. For the price I do t think anything beats to it around here

“Not modern but high quality luxury, attention to detail and cannot wait to go back and explore”
The hotel is amazing, quirky, comfortable and I would love to be able to go back there and explore more and use all of the facilities on a vacation instead of when on a business trip. Staff on taxi service desk very helpful in a tricky situation - thank you

“A wonderful stay in a beautiful place”
Everything. Felt like stepping into a golden era of hotels. Fantastic balcony views over the lake. Proximity to town, ferry, walks, bars and restaurants. Secure underground parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Good buffet breakfast. Art deco vibe lounge bar.
