“Basic hotel in a great location”

Great location with views toward the old town to die for. It's right on the river in a quiet and beautiful spot. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really excellent with fresh good quality products. The rooms are very basic, but clean and comfortable.

“Location, traditional pension and restaurant”

Good location down by the river about 10 minutes walk to station and old town centre both uphill. Nice views across to the town towers and walls and walk along the river and town walls. As expected for German accommodation clean and safe with added traditional style. Good food at breakfast and traditional restaurant within pension serving substantial traditional German meals. Staff were very helpful and spoke a little English.

We arrive on Sunday evening around 8. The restaurant said that dinner was not posible. They also did not offer drinks.

Quiet, picturesque location. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Parking space provided.

Very nice location of the hotel, right by the river (Spree) with a view of the old town. The rooms are clean and easily accessible via a staircase.

Great location, lovely building with a great beer garden and restaurant next to the river. The stay was quiet and comfortable and lovely breakfast. Daniel the manager was outstanding and was so helpful and efficient. There was secure storage for our bikes.

I love the location. You can hear the water flow outside and the breakfast restaurant is absolutely adorable! The staff were really nice, funny, and friendly. I saw some complaints about the staff but in my opinion they were really helpful and spoke English. I think it’s the fact that you check in, in the restaurant so they’re busy preparing for service! But otherwise the person that checked me in was very friendly and polite.

The rooms were huge with a lot of space and closets, so really nice for stays in family. Bathroom very clean. Breakfast was good. Parking just next door with loads of space. Location is quite central, as in walking distance you are in the old town.

Perfect accommodation for families. Restauran on site. Good local biers.

Excellent location next to the river and the old town, bridge overhead. The breakfast is rich and tasty, the room is spacious, clean, the bed is comfortable.

Very nice place with a large green territory on the bank of the river. It takes only a couple of minutes to get to the historical center of Bautzen. Room is perfectly fine with all necessary amendments. They have very good restaurant/biergarten with different kinds of local beer and my smoked trout was above and and beyond . The only note, there is no elevator in the building and your room can be on the higher floor, so weight the size of your suitcase against your capabilities to lift it :)
