“A beautiful, warm and welcoming hotel, in the most idyllic location imaginable.”
Everything you could possibly think of to make a perfect breakfast was there! The Muesli was exceptionally good. The table beautifully laid and all so 'inviting.' This is the third time we have stayed at Alte Geberei and each visit has been wonderful.

Everything was perfect. Beautifull location by the River with spectacular view on the castle and extraordinary nice concierge knowlegable about the city an region. Best for stay in Bautzen.

“A place to return to.”
This is a most beautiful hotel, full of character and charm ,as is the rear garden. The parking was off the road and and the room was a delight to be in. There was no problem with language and we were given a very good recommendation for eating out in the evening, close and lively.

This is a beautiful hotel in a stunning town. The owners are very welcoming and hotel buildings, rooms and garden are all lovely. Perfect location by the river, looking up at the fortifications. Excellent breakfast in a lovely conservatory.

Beautiful hotel, inside and outside. Kind staff, perfect breakfast, and view of Bautzen from the room. We could also drink a cup of hot tea in the room before sleep. We are totally satisfied with this stay in the hotel, it is one of beautiful memory of our trip.
