I do not like doing bad reviews and it makes my heart sad to do this. Booked 3 nights. Room was full of dead flies, on floor, on bed, everywhere. Knew we were coming and did not clean. The road is unpassable unless 4x4 or motor bike. Told our driver ok and came close to doing damage to car. Asked for refund as totally unacceptable and left immediately. After several emails was told would do refund when had time. Weeks later and no reply to emails now. Photos are not true representation of property.

It was really pleasant stay with the spectacular view and good staff. View from the room was good and breakfast was room-serviced, which was very nice. Especially the presence of Darsana made us relaxed and comfortable because he did his best to help around with many things. We thank him for that. Even though there are several inconveniences, the place is worthwhile visiting and staying with the bonus of beautiful smiles of local people and children.

Our stay (or rather, our attempted stay) was nothing short of a horror movie, just without the escape at the end. Chapter 1: The Arrival – A Gateway to the Unknown After an exhausting journey, we arrived at the property, expecting a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. Instead, we were greeted by… nothing. No staff. No check-in. Just silence, as if the place had been abandoned years ago. We stood there, bags in hand, staring at the eerie, empty reception area. A single flickering lightbulb buzzed overhead, casting long, unsettling shadows. We waited. And waited. Nobody came. Chapter 2: The Room of Flies After what felt like an eternity, someone finally appeared—looking more confused than welcoming. We were led to what was supposed to be our room, and as the door creaked open, a wave of damp air and decay hit us. Then we saw them. Flies. Everywhere. They buzzed around the room like restless spirits, crawling on the bed, circling the single, cracked mirror. Was this a hotel room? Or had we stumbled into the set of a paranormal investigation show? We thought, “At least we can relax by the pool.” Oh, how naive we were. The pool was green, its murky waters hiding whatever lurked beneath. No chairs. No guests. Just a stagnant, festering swamp. Chapter 4: Cut Off From the World Perhaps the scariest part? No internet. No warnings about it beforehand, just a complete and total cutoff from civilization.

The view was awesome. Cold weather at might. Booked tis as we plan to climb up mount batur. Friendly staffs. They gladly makes us hot coffee upon requests at night. I prefer the hut rooms better than e single room.

The manager and the staff are awesome! They helped us a lot when we had problems with finding a ride to Padangbai. It was a time for holy balinese celebrations and drivers were unavailable, the manager and another guy from the staff took us personally by car in a 2 hours drive to our destination (tell me where you get such a nice treatment) in which we talked a lot and they took us also to the coffee plantation! The excursion on Batur was awesome and we must thank our guide Wi! Very nice guy, thanks Wi and good luck for your future! The room was big and comfy and we enjoyed very much the pool and breakfast near the pool. Thanks to you all! We will be back soon!

stunning view from the place The staffs are very nice and helpful. We faced some challenges with transportation after tour to mount batur and even transfer to swiss belresort, they helped me with other private drivers. These were last minute request. It was great experience.

Nice spot, a hidden gem with a nice view over lake Batur. Friendly people who are willing to help you with al sort of things/events. They even drove us to the local hot spring and a warung, without asking, what was very kind. Nice breakfast in the morning as well.

Very nice place in a really good position. But what makes the difference is the staff that is really helpful and friendly. They helped to find the driver to move to the other step of our trip. We recommend it! P.s. I also lost my phone in the driver’s previous car and they solve help me to solve problem in a smart and fast way! Thank you!
