Feels like a home away from home We had a wonderful stay at Susan Homestay. The family is incredibly lovely and makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. There’s always a warm and relaxed atmosphere, especially nice when resting in between surf sessions. The rooms are big, comfortable, and great value for money. A special mention to Perly, who speaks perfect English and is always happy to share about the local culture and food, which made the experience even more special. And if you know how to play chess — definitely challenge her. A truly welcoming place that we would happily return to.

Perfect location for this familly homestay. The owners are very friendly and speak very well English. It's just 5 minutes walk to the surf spot (reef break), and close to a lot of restaurants and warungs. It's very quiet at night. I recommend !

Very nice place to enjoy Batukaras! The location is a bit far from the beach but in a very nice area with nice rice fields, a few restaurants nearby,… the family is very nice and welcoming and the room is big and has all we needed. They helped us with the transfer from and to the train station and can help you get a scooter.

A perfect place to stay if you want to visit Batukaras. A lot of space in the room, all the basics you need for rest and hygiene and a wonderfull family who runs it. Definitly my best experience during my trip in indonesia.

Super friendly welcoming place to stay and experience a bit of indonesian family life. People speak english very well. They help with whatever question you might have and you can always use there scooter to go somewhere. The beach is only 5 minute walk and the waves for longboard surfing are amazing.
