Location not far from main street, restaurants and beach. Quiet double room with ensuite and out sitting area.

Definitely the owners. They picked us up in the middle of the night for free and gave us a room although I booked for the wrong night! They are the best!

I will come back ..so clean n comfortable but ... they need absolutely air conditioner....thank you...

“Lovely, friendly and clean homestay!”

Lovely clean homestay with spacious room. The family were so friendly and welcoming, checking in with me everyday. I was shown around the island when I arrived by the owners grandson who gave me great surfing lessons! The owner also gave fruit in the morning on day and borrowed me a bicycle to get around. I will definitely return to Batukarus and this homestay. Thank you

Everything was perfect, the older couple din't speak English, but were so incredibly nice. Their grandson showed us the area and we could also rent a scooter and surfboard for a very good price from him. When it was time to leave again, they even brought us to the terminal. 100% recommended.

“Fantastic”

This is a classic homestay with sound facilities and fantastic people. We stayed for two nights, and we’re greeted and taken care of the entire stay. The level of English from the two elderly caretakers is very limited but this wasn’t a problem (we had an English to indo translator app which was very helpful). They’re grandson ardy is a local surfer who came by and helped us organise scooter hire and rents boards if you need some to surf. We also gave us tips on some local breaks and when batu Kara’s would work best on what swell / tides etc. Our car broke down on the first night and they helped us massively by arranging a mechanic to come by the property as well as picking up the spare parts to fix it and get us back on the road. Without their help this process would have been far more stressful and likely more expensive if we’d organised with the local mechanics ourselves. I’d definitely recommend this homestay if you are not fussy about some basic but clean accomodation for a fair price.

“Superb”

Very friendly owner, although we came late night due to traffic conditions. Spacious room, there's a kitchen and outside shower. This is on the top list accommodation if there's a chance visiting batukaras in future.
