Overview
Set amidst the scenic tropical landscapes of Batu Karas, Bale Karang Cottages offers a beachfront retreat 100 metres away from Reef Break surf spot. It features cottages with thatched roofs and private terraces facing the greenery. Guests enjoy in-room breakfast and free on-site parking. Bale Karang Cottages is 5-minute drive from Legok Pari Beach and a 15-minute drive from Green Canyon, which includes Cijulang river that goes through the cave with stalactite and stalagmite. It takes 20 minutes by car to reach the property from Nusa Wiru Airport. Fitted with modern interiors, air-conditioned rooms, desk and a wardrobe. Each private semi open bathroom comes with a shower, towels and a set of toiletries. Staff at the 24-hour front desk can assist with safety deposit box usage, laundry requests and surfing arrangements. Outdoor Restaurant serves a spread of Indonesian and Western favourites. Meals can also enjoyed in the privacy of guests' rooms.

“We had a restful and relaxing stay and will definitely stay here again”
The staff were so helpful and responsive to everything we needed. We got a scooter within 20 minutes, breakfast was great and clothes cleaning was included too. The services were fabulous.

“Beautiful place at the beach”
Great place to stay with sea view. Delicious breakfast and friendly staff. Nice airconditioned rooms, especially enjoyed the shower outside underneath the stars and palm trees. (High walls around so don’t worry about lack privacy)

“Bale karang batukaras”
Staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is above average. Need help to rent a bike and car, staff is very helpful to help. Location is great. Beach is just across the road.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Comfortable beds and pillows. Simple but tasty breakfast. A scooter was made available at a great rate. Location was excellent. Close to the surf and quiet.

Beautiful room, gorgeous outdoor bathroom, great location across the road from the beach. Main surf point is a 15 minute walk or 3 min scooter ride. Can also surf right out front if you’re lucky!

Somehow the property matched with the public photos they shared at Booking.com. So, it was good. The ladies helped us with laundry although that service was not listed. We were grateful.
