Our stay at Pondok Lestari was incredible. The family who runs the accommodation is extremely kind, welcoming, and always willing to help. The food was very good, and one of our favorite experiences was going fishing every afternoon and then enjoying the fish we caught for dinner. There is a beautiful coral reef right in front of the property, perfect for snorkeling, although in some areas the water can be quite shallow at low tide. The beach feels completely private, peaceful, and very cozy. A special mention to Akmal, who was exceptionally friendly and took us on several amazing tours that he personally recommended. Thanks to him, we were able to discover some wonderful places around the area. We would definitely return to this place and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic experience.

We spent 5 nights at Pondok Lestari and had the best time! The bungalows are small, basic but comfortable. The food was fantastic (lots of fresh fish!) and plentiful and breakfast we were able to choose between fruit and pancakes or nasi goreng. Akmal and his family were friendly and helped organise reasonably priced half day and full day trips (snorkelling spots, village visits and to the jellyfish lake). We even went fishing with Akmal for our dinner. The snorkelling out of the front of the accomodation is nice, can also go spear fishing and walk to the beach nearby which we had all to ourselves and also nice snorkelling. If you are looking for a fancy, resort-style stay then this is not the place. The bungalows are rustic, with lizards, mosquitos, only a cold water pipe for a shower and electricity limited to night time. But it is a fantastic place to stay and unwind, with great food and people. Highly recommend!

“Great authentic budget Option”

Cute, smaller and cozy place owned by locals. Very nice food included in the price, good portions of fresh fish. Coffee and tea available, also snorkeling equipment to rent and nice tours to book. WiFi can be booked for a low price and is then absolutely sufficient. The huts are basically bathroom, bed (with mosquito net) and hammock, but what more can you need for some beach time. The staff is friendly and helpful and the beach is very clean and they pick up trash almost every day. Doesn't give you resort luxury but an authentic Island vibe for a good price :)

beautiful cottages on the beach with scenic views of the tortoise blue waters. comfortable bed . the staff were so amazing,cooking fresh fish and healthy food. i enjoyed my experience here because of the family oriented and relaxed atmosphere. highly recommended.

“Great place to stay in Togean Islands!”

We stayed 6 nights at Pondok Lestari Kadidiri and loved it! Akaa and his family were super nice people. Bungalows were nice with hammock in the terrace and beach in front of them. Comfy bed and big bathroom. Beach was also good for snorkeling. Crystal clear water! Good meals ( also options for vegetarian/vegans ).

It has been one of the best places I have been ever , the place, the family staff ..... I told them that I"m vegetarian and they did their best. If you go to toggean island you have to get to know this place at least to be there one night.

Lovely accommodation in Kadidiri Island with an amazing sea just in front of your cottage, wonderful snorkeling in clean and clear water. Surrounded by nature, you can walk 30 minutes on a jungle trail to reach the desert Barracuda Beach, go fishing whit Akmal or just relax in your hammock. Akmal family is running the place, meals are served in the common area in a big table shared with the other guest and the food, prepared by Akmals mother, is tasty and delicius, the best one I had in all the togean accomodation. You feel like be at home... Top destination for our days in Togean!

Our start of a 3.5 week island hopping trip on the Togeans could not have been better. Pondok Lestari is by far the best place on Kadidiri and the best budget option in the Togeans. Right away we felt like at home, there was a great special vibe. A great family! We got a very comfortable and clean bungalow right on the white sandy beach, fully equipped with sink, mosquito net, hammock, deck chairs.. Also the food was great, every day fresh fish, lovely breakfast. It was always varying as we ate what the family caught in the morning. Pondok Lestari is by far the most AUTHENTIC place when you want to dive in into a true local Togean lifestyle experience. Agmar the heart and soul of the place let the sun shine with his smile and his always happy mood. The brothers took the guests out for fishing, night fishing and to experience the glowing plankton (free of charge, that you never will experience anywhere else), they offered great day trips for fair prices to amazing spots for snorkeling or diving. The food was always great, thanks to mum and the little sister, sometimes we would have wished for a little more, but sure you simply can ask for it. Thank you for this amazing experience.

Home far away from home❤️

Very friendly host. We did snorkeling trips organized by them, which were good. We liked the food. All meals are in the communal dining area, which has a fixed menu. Mostly rice & fish.

We really liked the place and the family. They do their beset we felt We felt here like at home, part of the family. Akmal was very helpful. Hopefully we come back one day. Bungalows were nice and comfortable. Really nice and quiet place on the coast where one can relax and enjoy the nature. Rain forest is just next to the place, one can watch birds. Family offers boat trips (usual jellyfish lake, bajo village or whatever one wants) and activities (fishing was really great). Evening sitting in the bar playing guitar or just watching sea was really nice. Even there is no phone signal and electricity, it was possible use electricity few hours a day and use wifi.

It was perfect. The best food I had in whole Sulawesi was here! We were able to borrow snorkels, visited jellyfish lake, bajo village and had so many other opportunities. I will definitely come back!

The accommodation is located on the Kadidiri island which has a beautiful coral reef for snorkeling and stunning beaches on it. The bungalows are well-equipped for Togean standards and the host family is so friendly and helpful. The food, which is included in the price, is delicious. All in all I would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone who is planning on staying on the Togeans.

“Bang for a buck”

Everything is amazing, food is often caught the same day. It is the cheapest place in togean! The host family are very nice people and do there best to make you feel at home. The house reef is ok.

Quiet place. You can eat a fresh fish almost every day. Was had a 12 kg barracuda. The host are really helpful. For connexion you need to go to wifi beach. They will explain you🤣
