Nice pool area and lobby

“Dissapointing and poorly maintained room.”

The location was great and is located nearby to the Thalangama lake; it is a nice area in Thalangama. It was nice to walk around the roads near the property. And the supporting lady was helpful, despite all the problems we had in the room we stayed in, she tried her best to sort them out and help us. The room provided to us was a very poorly maintained one. The room had no bedside lamps or lights set up, but the unfinished wiring was covered by insulation tape. My kids have grown up, and they no what not to touch, but if you have young kids, that is a danger in the room. Definitely, it is not something you would expect when you pay and stay in a highly rated (I doubt how it reached this rating?) booking.com property. The bathroom was never inspected before accepting guests. The bathroom door had its lock broken, and we found that much of the bathroom finishing work was not completed. There were broken wooden cupboards by the vanity sink area in the bathroom, and both of the cupboards' doors were broken, and they were just hanging around by it's last latch, which would easily fall onto someone's foot if they stood nearby the sink area or tried to pull out the doors. We asked our kids not to stand nearby to make sure they don't get injured accidentally. There was a power cut (which is fine in SL, there can be unnoticed power cuts, and that happens), but there were no backup power source plans for the property. It is not possible to stay inside the room with no Air conditioning. If they want to accept guests, they need to check up on all those and be ready. Because there are many properties and apartments around for the same price, and they do have backup plans ready in hand for those. There were excuses when I asked about the backup power source. We had to step outside and leave the room, as it was not possible to stay inside during the power outage for the full day. I consider this a disappointing stay and overquoted for the price.

Great location, flexible, great hosting, vue on vibrant nature, you can observe the birds at sunset or sunrise (so many), peacefull place. The 360 rooftop is amazing. And the architecture of the house is refined.

Very good location. we stayed to go to Passport office. only 10-15 minutes drive

Super location near the lake. We flew in and had 1 night in colombo before moving on. We are wildlife fans and saw many species of birds on the lake including a monitor lizard and porcupine. The lodge is lovely and spacious.

The host was super kind and understanding. The caretaker was superb!!!! Happy to supply anything we requested. A sumptuous tip is highly recommended for Ms Kalyani. The pool was super clean. Breakfast was abundant and tasty. Upon request to the host, i entertained my relatives for a lunch ordered from a nearby restaurant. All my relatives were pleasantly surprised at this location unimaginable to be in kotte area.

Everything was superb! The rooms are very spacious, beds super comfy, Lift, and the super clean pool hedged by the foliage. The staff, Kalyani was exceptionally friendly and very helpful. And she deserves a mega tip! The living area was vast, comfy and gives super vibes. We had to cancel our booking due to poor tummy health of our team , then we booked only for 4 ppl the next day. The host understood our situation and kindly accepted for me to entertain some of our relatives for a few hours in the premises. Loved the cat !!!!

Great spectacular location and very beautiful properties. Hospitality on high level. Very clean and fresh build villa. Highly recommend this place.
