The hostel has the most comfortable beds ever!!!! It is clean and lovely. The staff is great - very friendly and helpful. They have also wonderful recommendations what to see, where to eat etc. The girl even drove me to help me to change the money.

- Both receptionists, the young man and woman, were so friendly and hard-working. Thanks to them and I wish them success in their lives. - The bathroom area is basic but spacious, neat, and clean. - The dorm was good and clean, with quite enough space for backpacks. - I ate fried rice chicken + fried egg for 2.5$ at their restaurant. That's not expensive for Cambodia and the portion was normal. - You need to walk only 15 minutes to the city center. Don't think that's negative considering the price of the stay.

Amazing budget accommodation! The room was so comfy and clean and the bunks in our private room each had curtains, night lights and plugs in the bed and the beds were huge and so comfy! The best pillow I’ve slept on in months! Great pool table in the courtyard and the pancakes were amazing! Great location, nothing bad to say at all!

The property it’s self is nice and spacious, with a large common area where you can buy very reasonably priced food and drink. The rooms were clean and beds had curtains and plenty of storage. The staff were so nice and went above and beyond with our requests. They bought us bus tickets and organised a tour to the caves! All very well priced. The tour to the caves was a highlight. We had Mal as our tuktuk driver who was so funny and knowledgeable. Thank you Por Chey!

The stuff was really helpful and friendly. If you want to do a tour around the city, we recommend Mr. Job! He was great and made sure we had a lovely and informative trip.

Great hostel with cute rooms! Nice location and the staff is top notch! The owner is so friendly and helped to arrange a tour the same day I arrived! I can totally recommend his driver Jo! Such a heartwarming driver with a lot of knowledge. Jo made my stay in Battambang very special by showing me all the things and even local things I wasn’t aware of! Really enjoyed being there!

Great hostel with big double bed in dorm room. Super friendly staff who organised our onwards bus and full day tour of Battambang with a local guide called Yo who I cannot recommend enough for you to ask for him, he gives a personal account of the history of Cambodia while visiting the monuments, killing fields and cave, local food, everything. The breakfast at the hostel was also amazing and for only 3 USD you get a lot.

“Amazing and chill place in Battambang”

We stayed in one of the dorms, which were comfortable and the bathroom was super clean. Every person working there was so incredibly nice and they made us feel super welcome and helped us with whatever we needed. We took a full day tour of Battambang and we liked the tour and our guide so much that we decided to also do the half day tour the next day. We especially remember Pira (not sure about the spelling) who gave us a lot of tips on what to do in Battambang. We also chatted a lot with Wi (again not sure about the spelling) who studies tourism and works at the hotel at the same time. She wants to improve her English and is amazingly nice so have a chat with her when you’re at Por Chey. Please note: We are two friends traveling together and therefore didn’t mind that we were the only ones staying in the dorm at the time. Although, if you are traveling alone and want to meet people this might not be the place for you. However, if you want to enjoy the Battambang countryside and have some peace and quite (while being surrounded by amazingly nice hosts) this place is for you.

Very big and soft double bed in the dorm with curtains and clean sheets. Clean bathrooms with soap, toilet paper etc. enough. Nice common area with sofas and pool table. Good value for money!

“A good budget stay!”

The location is 20 min walk from the main strip/river and there was lots of road construction but tuk tuks were east to get which made it easier. The free pick up from the bus station is appreciated (however we later found out that the owner doesn’t pay the driver so definitely tip!). The room was comfortable and clean. The workers were so friendly and helpful.
