“Enjoyable stay”
The staff were amazing. All the guys who looked after us in the restaurant and on the beach were always smiling, singing and dancing. The location is perfect, right on the beach with plenty of sun loungers. The bed was comfortable and the shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. We stayed in a triple room so that we could lay our clothes out on the single bed. The room was large with a good sized balcony and it was bright with good lighting. It was also very peaceful.

“Nice clean accommodation close to beach”
Our room was recently refurbed so nice clean and all new. Shower was nice and plenty of hot water. Great position near the sea with lots of sun beds and great snorkelling with turtles.

As other reviewers have said .. this hotel is right on the beach. Perfect location for relaxing on the free sunbeds, snorkelling with turtles and watching the tiny ones being released in the evening. Helpful staff. Good food.

“Beautiful quiet beach, beachfront hotel, kind staff, good food, and lovely sunsets with sea turtles.”
We ended our Sri Lanka holiday in the south by the sea and were very happy to have chosen Dikwella. Compared to other beaches we visited, this one was quiet and not crowded with tourists. We loved that the hotel is directly on the beach, offering sunbeds under the palm trees where guests can relax, as well as restaurant service available at any time of the day. The staff was extremely friendly and the food very good. We also enjoyed spotting sea turtles right in front of the hotel and watching a beautiful sunset with a drink.

“Great place! Great location! Great staff!”
We had a great stay at White Lion Paradise! It’s a family run hotel and hostel with very friendly staff and owners. The spot was perfect; more or less directly on the beach. Every morning we went to snorkle with the turtles that live in the bay. The breakfast was great with a lot of fruits and your choice of western or Sri Lankan breakfast. You can eat on the terrace and have a view over the sea. A few more restaurants on the beach for lunch, sun set drinks etc. A calm place for relaxation. It’s only a 10 min Tuk Tuk to busy and wonderful Hiriketiya if your in the need for more action. The owners helped out to get Tuk Tuk for a good price. Overall a great place for a good price!

“Fantastic place to stay at Batigama Beach.”
Large, clean rooms in a peaceful environment. Situated a few steps away from Batigama Beach where you can snorkel with turtles during the day and watch the sunset in the evening. Staff were friendly and attentive to all needs. Many eating options in close proximity.

White Lion Paradise is located right next to a quiet and beautiful beach, away from heavy tourist crowds, yet only about 2 km from the busy town area. The room was clean and decent for the price, making it a comfortable budget stay. The staff were the highlight of our experience. Extremely polite, warm, and always ready to help. The food was very good overall; we especially enjoyed the chicken shawarma and dosa. The hotel also provides sunbeds and snorkeling gear, which is a nice touch and adds value to the stay.

“Construction site, dirty, moldy smell and poor customer service”
Only thing that was nice, was the very proximity to the beach where we swam with turtles. Not the best beach though with corals/rocks.
