My daughter got locked out on the verandah and couldn't get back into the building! Make sure you take a key every time!!! Gardens were quite unkept.

The view from the balcony was beautiful and the whole relaxed atmosphere and quietness close to the centre of town would surely not be equaled in Bathurst. Lovely Gardens to relax in, absolutely recommend

I slept well. Bedding was clean. It was quiet.

We original booking was for the guesthouse however, due to a booking issue, we were offered an apartment close by. We would like to thank Robyn for their problem solving, flexibility and accommodation.

The staff were very accommodating, gave us lots of good advice and recommendations of places to visit. Our room was very cosy, with comfortable beds.

The heritage building and grounds are beautiful, its just a shame the interior does not match the exterior. The property is well locted on William St not far from the town centre.

We were in Bathurst for a big soccer tournament. Holmhurst was filled with soccer families. The last day of the tournament it poured with rain, and true to usual soccer traditions, it poured with rain. We faced a long drive home with soaking wet, muddy kids. At our early morning checkout the lovely host suggested we could keep our key, so we could come back and shower after our games. He was so concerned about us travelling home cold and wet. Welcoming back wet, muddy soccer players was beyond the generosity of any place I have ever stayed. My daughter injured her back, and being able to come back and refill our hot water bottles and get ready for a long drive home made a big difference. Thank you

The staff were lovely, the location is good, easy to find, and an interesting old building with history. Views over Bathurst from the balcony are great. Whilst old, very dated, and very much in need of a refresh, all the facilities were clean. Shared kitchen is basic but adequate. Communal seating areas are fine, but furniture is well past its prime.
